neat game. My only feedback might be to zoom out so you can see more of the sea. Well done!

neat exploration, reminds me a little of subnautica in a good way
Cool game! A bit buggy when it comes to interacting with objects (and the interaction GUI looked un-styled for me compared to your screenshots), but the concept is very cool, and the oxygen mechanic works very smoothly.
Kudos to the whole team, especially Miles!
I like your game! Good graphics and the music! I wish I only could see a bit more! Good Job!
I love the concept. It played great and I think the game was well done. Music is a bit loud for my taste but it fits the mood of the game well. On my second playthrough the species counter only updated when I found a species that I didn't find the first time. Not sure if intended. Overall great job!
@miej Miles plays subnautica so he was probably inspired by that when coming up with the idea lol! Ty for playing
@ditam That's fair, I wish I had time to design a nice -looking UI and make interactions smoother, glad the game works well enough though, thanks for playing!
@tucan Thanks for playing, wish I had time to improve the amount of content haha
@clericshields Thanks for playing, yes I think a wider field of view could be a helpful option!
@breadstix That's gotta be a bug, thank you for pointing it out! Glad you enjoyed the game :) [EDIT] I've fixed that bug now!
Cool concept, but I agree that the camera needs to be zoomed out a little more to see more around you. I kept moving past creatures because I didn't have time to react before I saw them.
@tengusheath True, it is tricky because of how zoomed in the camera is. Thanks for playing!
I left you a rating. Good luck!.
On my first try I just went to the right :D then I remembered the theme. Like the others said a map would have been great. The monsters down there are quite freaky :D
I really like the concept of the game i agree with the offers that a minimap and a zoomed out camera would make the game more enjoyable
Very cool that you did this as a family. That must have been very fun. The game worked pretty well for me. I did notice one bug. I upgraded my O2 tank a few times, then the next time I tried to drill for iron, the space to interact prompt didn't appear. Instead I just saw a blurb about what iron is used for in the game. I reloaded the webpage and tried playing again. This time everything worked fine.
Here's some other things I thought about if you all are going to keep working on this game. It was a little disorienting when moving underwater. There weren't a lot of visual cues that I was moving, especially if I was moving only side to side. Maybe some bubbles leaving the ship could give a clue as to which direction you're moving. I also agree with some earlier comments, a more zoomed out view would be nice.
Overall though, the music worked well, the creatures were all very creative, and I only noticed one bug which went away after a reload.
Be proud of yourself because you finished something. I liked the music. It was too hard for me. it was lacking some sort of easy way to tell where are fish.
Nice game, simple mechanics that make it quite engaging. It really invites to play more just to know how far it is possible to go.
@chris1919 Thanks for the feedback, we did have a lot of fun making it! I am aware of the bug you mentioned, just need to get around to fixing it :) I also did have a bubble trail made by a particle system, but it weirdly didn't show up in the web build, not sure why, maybe a feature of unity's webGL builder. (It looks like this in the unity game window) xTGKZ3QX6e.gif
Something I will try to figure out for next time. Thanks for playing!
@ludrol Thanks for playing! You're right, it's hard to tell where the creatures are. If I were to do it again, I would give them some kind of trail to make it easier :)
@deltachemist Thanks, I was hoping the player would feel compelled to explore further, so I'm glad you got that feeling :)
@kontiko I agree with the suggestions! Thanks for playing :)
