Nice use of the loop mechanic. Also, something about that jump sound is extremely satisfying.
I enjoyed the gameplay and after learning how to use the loop mechanic to hold the switch, I was looking forward to more creative ways to use it but it seems like you only implemented that one puzzle. Towards the end there's a lever looking thing next to a cloud but I couldn't figure out how to use it.
I wouldn't mind playing a more fleshed out version of this since I have a soft spot for these kinds of platformers (and that jumping sound effect)
this is nice and consistent but I got stuck at the I think second door. There was a downwards pointing arrow on a platform above but leaving a clone there didn't seem to open the door, upto there i'd enjoyed it though
@copito Sorry, that our mistake ruined your experience. To activate buttons/levers push "space", platypus will hit them by the tail.
@skleembof Thank you for your kind words. This is our first experience in gamejam, and we did not have time to implement all our plans. As a result, we forgot to indicate the interaction . To use the switch and buttons, you need to use the space bar.
@snowinn Thank you for your feedback!
Made me laugh at the end. Thought the platypus and the loop stuff was a cool concept and simple enough to play for a game jam
@upcharlie Thank you for your feedback! Glad to hear that you like it!
One of my favorite animals! The artwork is really fitting. I think the controls work really well. I never had a death that I felt wasn't my fault.
I really enjoyed the artwork you have in this game and the cute character! It was also a really interesting idea to loop the characters actions like that, although it was a little confusing at first. The only suggestion I would make is that the text that appears was really blurry on my computer and kind of in a weird place on the screen. But overall a pretty good game!
@snowinn I just ported it on mac/linux. You are welcome to check out my game)
@kotovnav I love this mechanic and artstyle! Sometimes the player can get caught on the edges of platforms, so you might want to try to make the sides frictionless. Great job!
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
@etrealjunior Thank you for your feedback! Your game is also amazing!
very cute, loved the loop mechanic!
Cool game, cute graphics. But I think I've seen this mechanic in some other games here, anyway, good job!
@dumplingsquid Thank you for your feedback!
@guimoliveira Thank you for your feedback! We don't have a patent for ideas, so why not? However,it is a little bit pity that you saw our game a little later than others :)))
Quite a fun game, and you score extra points for using one of the coolest animals!
@nsadie Thank you for your feedback! Yep,we also like platypus)
Enjoyed playing the game and I loved the idea of using the replay. I played it all the way to the end :)
Positives: * Platypuses... I mean.. what's not to like * Cool replay mechanic * Cute graphics * Interesting puzzles * Really satisfying jump! * Great first Jam entry :)
Negatives: * Needs more sound * Could do with a tidy up on the text it looks a bit odd * Got stuck on platform edges occasionally (common unity tilemap issue!) * The tail seemed underused
Hahahahah this game was cute. I love the gag at the end. The graphics were nice, and I like the animations. The controls were okay although I got stuck at the walls sometimes when I jumped on them, I suggest adding a physics2D material to the player next time and setting the friction to zero to prevent that. Also the game felt a bit quiet for me so maybe some more sounds would be nice. Overall, I enjoyed playing this and would love to see a more fleshed out version someday!
This was funny and cute game! Theme was right on the point and I loved the pixelart  . Sounds were good too, but maybe some enviromental sounds like birds or cicadas or wind would have perfected the mood. Collisions were little awkward but not by any means game breaking.
For the story, it was sweet and funny but there could maybe have been some excuse why a platypus could record a loop.
I like the cute world, the pixel art is really good ! GG for this game !
