Could be fun but due to the performance it's essentially unplayable since you only provided the web version. Also not quite how a loop ship works, the force would be pulling toward the outside wall

It is, in fact, a video game. Lol, all jokes aside, not a bad concept but needs some more work to be playable. Also I noticed you didn't put a ground check in for jumping so you can just fly, but that makes it more fun so maybe if you ever flesh out this game try to implement that as a mechanic!

The idea is simple and fun, and I love the music. The controls is not the best, and shooting the enemies do not always work. Overall an okay but also a bit unfinished jam game.

Its sometime laggy, not a bad idea, but i think when you finish development this it will be good, good job!

It ran pretty well in chrome for me, but it didnt capture the mouse, so i could only turn so far until i had to counterrotate and so on XD Idk if its a bug, but i could jump/jet pretty far. It would need some polishing, but the bouncing bullets like its dodgeball deluxe were fun!

I'm sorry man this is totally unplayable. Not only does it run slow, but also the character jumps non-stop. Half the time I play the character falls through the floor. I'd recommend just making a windows or mac build and posting that.

Somewhat wonky, but still managed to have some fun with it, no worries.

Game jams are good opportunities for improving on skills. Since you're mentioning you've improved since april, then it's nice to see that you're making progress. Don't let comments discourage you and try to achieve your objectives of learning what you can do. Try to see in your free time if you can improve on what didn't work here and keep coming stronger and stronger in the future ones! 💪

It's very laggy (I use latest chrome) maybe there should be desktop build?

@cax, @patrickjr, others who've mentioned webgl version is turds, yeaaah sorry :P. I'm hesitant to share a native build though for two reasons. One is security, I'm very skeptical of downloading random executables from strangers on the internet, and I think webgl is a safe enough compromise. Two is that I'm developing on linux, which is a bit of a pain to do portable builds with, and I don't have a build environment for windows set up at the moment. So I could share a tarball, don't know how useful that would be to people though, I assume most are running windows.

Also, when it comes down to it, this isn't a really serious game, more of a proof of concept, so I'm not *too* worried about presentation and usability right now honestly. I'll definitely put real effort into native builds in the future, but yeah. I really appreciate the feedback, wasn't expecting this to get any attention lmao.
