The game keeps crashing for me when I "release the beast"
The game was little hard to understand, but nice work
Pretty cool game. I really like how the villagers display what they're currently doing, and how close they are to finishing their task. But the game can be pretty buggy at times, the game would sometimes crash(Couldn't figure out what exactly causes it but it happened enough times on my machine that it made it difficult to play) when the beast eats someone and moving my cursor to the edge of the screen only worked for the top and right side of the screen.
I couldn't get past the beast coming and killing one villager. Tried every button the game shows, sometimes it just crashes as soon as the beast kills one of my villagers. I really like city construction games and I think I would like it.
As a constructive criticism I would say you could focus a bit more on controls and showing the player what he/she needs to be able to play your game. In a 48h/72h game jam it may be difficult, but if someone can't even play for 10 or 20 seconds it's something that should be focused on early on. I couldn't be able to see the really idea of the game, so good controls is a must to show your idea. Try to focus on giving an experience. Usually we want to do a big thing but it's hard to do in this restricted time, so first guarantee the player is able to play your game, then go implementing your idea. The idea can turn out very in the end, it's not a problem.
Keep doing it!
The game keeps crashing when I send the beast eating people. That seems to be a great idea, but it's too buggy. A tutorial in your page should be better to understand the game.
It's a good idea, but it's a bit hard to get started. You may need a tutorial or some instructions to guide the players.and the game often crashes.
I see only gray screen and looks like game crash after I press anything in left corner
Pretty interesting sim, but pretty difficult to understand. First I thought I had to click on the icons (which didn't work) since I didn't see the "QWSD" at first. After I got that part and tried the actions, the interactions seemed a bit ambiguous but I sort of figured it out eventually - I can destroy buildings, according to the text (didn't actually destroy buildings), add wheat or people I guess depending on context, and also control the beast? Controlling the beast took me a few attempts to figure out I was actually doing it, at first I was just mashing and thought it was random. I think there's a consistent crash when the beast goes into the town hall too. Also the camera movement on the edge of the screen was pretty finicky, especially since the game runs in windowed mode, but I guess that's not super important for the game as it stands. Still an interesting experience though. Keep it up!
