Nice rendition of disco music! This is like a music game but much harder because the squares are all offset lol

johnjoemcbob 2020-04-20 12:48

Cool! Well done :) I know it's a mechanic but the offset keys really confused me! Maybe it could show the key ontop of the square? So its less of a memory game but still keyboard twister

It's a good idea. I would the difficulty easier at least at the beginning. I ended up pressing every button losing the meaning of the game. I mean, I like difficult games, but if it's too hard from the beginning it becomes frustrating.

I agree with @team-prosit It's way too steep of a learning curve. I liked the concept, but it felt a little hard just to be hard. Music was nice. responsive, and could be a little easier or designed with a flatter learning curve.

good music, didnt know what to do on the beginning but after this its cool, but its really hard from the start

I wish the notes lined up when you played, each one is in a different position and it's quite a challenge for new players to remember which one is which and they are staggered making it even more difficult

The controls were kind of confusing, but great music and game!

I'm so bad at rhythm games and the weirdly aligned buttons made this impossible for me :D Everything felt to be in rhythm and work, so good job! The music was nice too. Maybe leave low contrast letters under the tiles or fade them out after some time so it's easier to get into it.

the offsetting of the buttons felt kind of mean lol, but this is good for a first game! also, it's ludum dare, so it's a great time to try weird things like that imho. i gave you a lot of points for innovation. the music was good, and the actual button presses were actually on beats, so that felt nice when i could get a rhythm going for a little bit

Cool little rhythm game. I found that a button mashing strategy worked best, I'm not talented enough to hit all the notes correctly, lol!
