I had no idea what I was doing but I really enjoyed the music and sound effects! I also absolutely love this artstyle and the animations! I laughed out loud when I saw and heard the character trip in the puddle. Unfortunately I got stuck in the running animation and stopped there. Hope to see more come out of this project. Good job!

This seems like a promising start, and the art-style is really cool!

Your mockup-concepts seem really interesting, especially the idea of having a multiplayer-mode.

I suggest you really consider trying to develop this a further.

Your mockups indicate that you had really complex ideas for building the game world. (Which is not a bad thing at all)

But for starters it would be better to implement the fundamentals, like the ability to control multiple players.

I would be entirely happy to fool around with a friend with this game, even if the only thing we would be able to do was roll around in the mud and throw sticks at each other!

After that you could go about implementing the more complex stuff you possibly had in mind.

As the artist, and a member of the project, I have to say that we are very grateful for your comments and feedback on the project. In the end we ended up very excited to be able to continue it, so we did not discard the idea that we will continue developing it <3

The music is epic, Seriously who ever on your team did the music it rocks.

The art is cool too, I really like your occlusion when I walked behind the tree, I didn't expect it when my guy just vanished, was very cool. The objects although they are just a few pixels really show what the object is, and I imagine they would have had some interesting uses if you had managed to go further on the code.

I was part of the music and sfx team and I actually would like to continue with this project, especially for the little things that were kept in the drawer, which I suppose you will also like <333
