Couldn't manage to figure out how to play, please consider adding a tutorial on the game's discription and tag me and i'll try it again :)

corentin-sabiaux 2019-10-07 13:11

Hi @pedromgdo, thanks for the advice :D As a beginner, i forgot this important step on a jam ahah Now it's fixed, if you don't understand please tag me again and i'll try to answer !

zubspace 2019-10-07 22:26

Very simple, but it fits the theme. Would have loved to create more stuff on my planet :)

corentin-sabiaux 2019-10-07 22:34

@zubspace Thanks for your message, i know that feeling of "something is missing here" at the end, he is pretty brutal ahah Unfortunately, i was having to erase some levels and ideas for fits my game into the developement time but i'm happy that we still have something playable :) Happy to see you have enjoyed the experience !

purpledartfrog 2019-10-07 23:55

good entry - although tutorial would be a good thing

:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:

Hi @purpledartfrog, thanks for the advice, i'll apply this for all of my next games projects :) Tutorial is something i didn't think firstly and i understand that this can frustate the player to having no indication of what he have to do and how ... well it's by making mistakes that we learn :p

nakami 2019-10-08 00:10

Nice work ! I have to do the game twice to be sure that when I have completed the water the game end and quit, in place of crashing. You should add a "quit" button for your next entries ;)

purpledartfrog 2019-10-08 00:11

@corentin-sabiaux no worries ... it's only my third (this one) entry that I actually did an ok one myself

corentin-sabiaux 2019-10-08 00:31

Hi @nakami, thanks for your comment :) The use of "Application.Quit()" have be done due to an emergency case : the run out of time. With a better time management for the next entries, I'll add this "quit" button for sure ;)

sprotex 2019-10-08 21:03

I had difficulties catching the shapes. And at the end, I'm not sure if the game crashed or if that mechanic was intended. I'd like to see more content, I didn't feel like accomplishing anything in the game. Maybe the game really crashed and there is more content after water?

corentin-sabiaux 2019-10-08 21:53

Hi @sprotex, thanks for your feedback :) ! Really sad to heard you didn't enjoy the game :/ The shapes colliders are put on the same scale of her sprites, maybe it was better to enlarge them ? About the end, as i said in responce on previous comments, i was having to erase some levels and ideas for fits my game into the developement time the jam accords to us. Due to that, i do an emergency Application.Quit() after the level 2 for having something playable and that can be proposed online. It's probably why you have feel this :(

theufo 2019-10-09 12:52

Nice start! If you add more content to the game, that would be great. I like mechanics and the idea, this game can become a great game after a little more work ;)

corentin-sabiaux 2019-10-09 13:23

Hi @sneakyfox and @theufo, thanks for your feedback :) Happy to hear that you enjoy the game and some of their finished mechanics :D All of your messages and the live review of Elysia Griffin give me the motivation to continue this project, i don't know how to start and when it will finished but there will be an update somedays published on the social network. Goal : bring back to life the levels and ideas previously scrapped :D Thanks a lot !
