It's a pretty well made game, and I really felt like hunting easter eggs haha! I only hoped I had a goal for running around, like at least a score or something. But again, it works well with no friction and it's pleasant to move around and grab stuff! Congrats on your release!
The collecting mechanics work well, I would have made the items a little rarer so you had to rush more, I found I could afford food easily.
Also some sort of score would be nice, time survived or total money or something.
Overall the basics are there, anything added now would be just polish :)
So when I played it, I got a time survived. I managed about 5 minutes (300 seconds). I enjoyed how as the game progressed you couldn't keep up with your declining health bar. It made me more desperate for efficiency and really played to the game's theme.
It would have been nice to have a bit of sound, but I know that can be hard. There also wasn't much explanation for what you were expected to do and how things worked. A little more tutorial probably would have been helpful.
However, the basic concept is solid and the controls worked pretty well. Thanks for sharing the game.
Solid game for the short amount of time. I like how you can not just find money, but also can trade bottles, what makes it more interesting to decide, what to look out for. Good job!

This game looks like a prototype, but early mechanics all work as should. I wish I could see it expanded. I can imagine It could be something very funny (and with crazy music!). Anyway, nice try :)

Interesting game. There's a bit of lack of direction going on, and I was never quite sure what the bottles were meant to do. The graphics are very nice, though, and the controls and collection mechanic works smoothly. I would suggest increasing the difficulty somewhat, as it seems too easy to collect enough change to buy soup. (And once you've done that a couple of times, there doesn't seem to be a lot else to do.) Focusing on that as the core game loop and see what sort of variations you can bring to the table there could open up some interesting options for a post-compo game.
Well, executable file's name says it all ;) It's an hobo sim. Not sure about your handling of the subject, but hey, you can build full hobo simulator from now on I guess.
