I love the art style, song and general mood. I don't know if this was on purpouse, but the pickups were appearing almost in the same spots all the time(like 3 positions). Maybe some visual indicator where they are would help, them you could spawn them in more random positions.

Congrats with release. Nice done

Ficou bem legal, gente.

I see potential for a very atmospheric story-driven game, would love to know the lore of this world and the backstory of the family! Tim Burton + Amnesia: the Dark Descent vibes is a favorite combo of mine haha. P.S. The dog was the smartest chaser of them all, I never managed to loose its tail. xD

luizamuller 2019-05-03 15:49

Definitely some Tim Burton-esque vibes! Thanks for playing :D @kydies

Boy, there were a lot of people working on this one! The game has a great atmosphere and the 'cutscene' graphics are marvelous (a bit like the cutscene graphics from Psychonauts). I wanted to retrieve all memories, but I found it too hard. Please let me know if there is a Youtube video of this. I'd love to see how it ends (but not enough to play it while there are so many other games, I must admit).

Well Done :)

@goerp We don't have a youtube video ): But if you figure where are fragments spawn spots, it becomes easier to collect them. Thanks for playing, glad you like our game!

I love the atmosphere and art for this! The movement felt a little janky (it looked like the sprite was jerking a bit as I moved too), and once I figured out the spawn spots were all on the left side, I just hung out there and the game became really easy.

I also didn't see any impact from the fragments coming after me, it looked like they're just there for atmosphere and don't do anything?

Also wasn't sure when I saw it if the bar in the top-right was supposed to be full or empty (since red could mean health).

The music and tone of the game were great, the control and level layout feel like they could've been taken further. For example, maybe for each portrait member, you get a different room to navigate; or maybe fragments are pre-placed so that rather than looking for them in random locations, it becomes a maze/puzzle.

I think this has a lot of potential to be taken farther and become a short commercial game.

Really enjoyed the portrait thing and the overall mood of the game. The music and art really fit together, and I loved the co-dependent parents! Spawn points for memory fragments were a bit concentrated; maybe by having special ability to "compass" the way for short period of time would have been cool.

Pretty interesting concept and moody entry! Your memories are somehow currency :) I liked the graphics a lot and the eerie music (not sure if the volume control works). I found a bit hard to leave the bad memories behind me and I died many times. Like @etrohar pointed out a special ability to earn to make things easier would have been a good thing to have.
