Application folder: F:/Users/BoltKey/Downloads/CavePaintings-1.0 There should be 'HardcoreCavePainting_Data' folder next to the executable
(yes, I have extracted the archive)
Solved: renaming ld43_data to HardcoreCavePainting_Data worked.
FYI you might need to rename the game in Unity as the game is expecting "HardcoreCavePainting_Data" but "LD43_Data" is what is packaged
really fun game! Loved the sounds a bunch and the art style is pretty neato! I feel like the gravity/jumping feels heavy but love the concept and use of the theme! I envy your pixelart skills :)

I liked it! It took me emberassingly long to realize what is going on and that I am the dude in the middle of the screen shooting ink.
The game is fun and feels very complete and polished for COMPO. The visuals are lovely. The concept works really well with the theme and I really like the game design.
The difficulty scaled up a bit too slow, making one playthrough very long. I would expect one playthrough of game of this format to take about 2-3 minutes (up to 5 if you are doing *really* good), so I have more incentive to play again and try to beat my high-score. I got 22230 on my second run when I actually knew what I was doing and I absolutely don't feel like trying it another time, as I know there will be a lot of long and boring grind before I get to the hard part.
Jumping felt a bit wonky and unsatisfying.

Nice game. The AI seem unbelievably good! The controller is great also, but I would prefer it to be: jump as soon as you hit the ground, if Spacebar is being kept. Really unclear on how to get the ammunition.. I was just vacuuming people and sometimes I got ammo. Reached ~16k score and was wandering for 2-3 minutes searching for ammo until my people died :P
Was pretty fun

Really unique idea, love the gameplay, although I think jumping could be better, character should be able to jump much higher. Artstyle and sound design is also great, really like sounds of sucking in and shooting ink. Overall this is one of my favourites this LD.

I think you've made a mistake again, the folder name is still different, it's "Hadcore..." (missed the letter "r".

Concerning the game itself: wow, I'm really impressed. Really cool idea and a solid implementation. What looks like a stone age guy with a vacuum... for people... which is also... a painting device? Awesome! A lot of polishing also, it looks, feels and plays very nice. Is there an end though, or is it a high score game? I was almost losing, but then enemies stopped coming from everywhere and I killed everyone, but did not win, I think.

If they stopped spawning then that's definitely a bug, it's meant to be an infinite high score game with infinitely increasing difficulty.
Unusual gameplay and nice aesthetic. The IA is amazing. Of course it could be improved with more time, but it is good enough as a compo entry. I have to take a look at your source code so as to understand how it works. Well done ++
