Nice 2D/3D effect!
Pretty awesome game you got there! I agree, the pixel graphics in a 3D environment look very slick.
I didn't manage to find any chickens. :(
Very good pixelArt/3D mix. I would have liked to be able to see all the time my companions, sometimes I didn't know if they were next to me o no. But after all is a very good game.
The graphics are nice!
The companions are adorably cute :)
I'd have increased movement speed a bit, once you've walked down a hallway, doubling back feels like a long time. Also projectile speeds could be faster
Honestly, I enjoyed it probably more then I *should* have because real time first person dungeon crawlers are my jam, but it's rife with problems. For one, the movement speed is glacial. if you have a slower character, you make a smaller level. Second, I tried using the purple smoke to teleport and no dice, didn't do jack. In addition you don't really have any sort of method of indicating the player getting hurt besides the health bar and I didn't even realize I was hitting the enemies really until the second or third one because it wasn't reacting and there was no sound. Finally, while the theme is sacrifice, I feel like it's a bit of a stretch. It's more straight resource management then sacrificing.
That said, I do likes me some dungeon crawl
I really like the style of the game, but I miss some sound effects or music. My suggestion is for you to add some free music and sound this will increase greatly the overall quality of the game. Overall good job ;) the game was fun.
Some of the 2d/3d merge didn't feel right, particularly the purple 'smoke' and projectiles. These felt a bit strange, and not to the same quality as all of the other things. I also didn't feel like a lot of the food was worth it. The first time that I found food, it was on some optional path, but by the time that I had gone to get it and returned, I had lost more hunger than I gained. Ultimately, I didn't even break even! I would have increased move speed or improve the amount of energy given by food (I mean it is a full chicken, how much could these people eat!?). Otherwise graphics are very good. Could have used some sound effects, but the game still worked without sound. Awesome creation!
