Great game! Loved the graphics and the sound effects. I would have enjoyed another couple of levels! There might be a bug at the end of the game where i encountered a javascript error.

I got really confused in the beginning, and didn't know what to do, but after few minutes the game started to be really enjoyable. The one thing that bothered me were the sounds, which were really loud and I had to turn them down a bit. Good job anyway!

The game looks good, and the sound and particles are very nice aswel. If you keep developing it might be an idea to add a indicator of where you will teleport to because I found myself doing alot of trial and error instead of actually thinking about what I am doing. Good job tho!

That was fun once I worked out what I was doing. Very innovative and original. I liked the style of the graphics too.

Took me way too long to actually understand how to play, but once I did, I had a blast. One of the levels (3?) had me stumped for way too long until I realized there was a 'less obvious' path that was the key. That's some great puzzle design right there.

Also, the graphics and polish are great. The game reads very easy while being very minimal. My only criticism is that, like others, I had to turn the volume down a bunch.

Everything I saw was really good. Art style is good and sound effects were good. I think a bit of low background music would have gone a long way and I a reticle showing possible locations to jump would be good. It was a little disorienting in the beginning before I realized what was going on, and later I couldn't discern at a glance how far away the jump would take me. Overall I really enjoyed it. Have fun out there!

@soyertek Hey, Thanks for the review! I had a problem with the webGL build, but it seems like an error with the engine's building process, which is a can of worms I found too much to take care of within the final hour of the jam. My hamhanded solution is making an executable open for download, but I see why you wouldn't want to download it, especially if you're on Mac or Linux.

@rafig Hi! Thank you for taking the time to play my game, even if you didn't get it at first. I should probably make an in-game tutorial besides just having a simple level that I intended to get the player comfortable with the controls. I see why that wouldn't be enough though, I should be more careful with teaching the player the mechanics of the game. Regarding the sound, I'm very used to having my computer's volume very low, so I apologize for forgetting a lot of people probably don't do that.

@laytanl I've got to remember to teach the player exactly what's happening in the future, as I see this was a common issue. Thank you for trying out my game!

@garygreen Thank you! I'll remember to try and explain the game to the player the best I can next time!

@nick-rafalski Thank you for the kind words. I'll try to be better with getting the player to know what's happening with the next game I make, since a lot of people have pointed out I've failed in that regard. I'm sorry if I destroyed your ears, I keep forgetting not everyone has their volume set to 25% at all times.

@phlip45 Thank you very much! Your idea for signalizing to the player where they'd land is great, I really should've thought of that. I tried making music, but with my every attempt it was more and more obvious just by listening to the tracks that I'm a programmer, not a musician. I eventually settled on making some subtle ambience, however unfortunately I haven't had the time to program in its initialisation. You can still find it in the assets though, probably louder than it would be after adding it in.

These are my ratings: ratings.jpg

I really like the game. It's very clever, rather eerie, and nice. I personally got stuck on Level 3, but that's because I'm impatient and not very good at games.

There are a few things you could've improved on. I wish you'd included that really creepy music you made. It was really really good. It would've been good if you'd made the main mechanic more clear to the player.

Other than that, awesome game! I'm glad you included fullscreen windowed mode after all!

The game wasn't super clear on where you'd end up, or why you flew up into the air when the block exploded, or where you'd be placed after you flew into the air, but I liked the puzzle mechanic and when I got the hang of it it was quite enjoyable. It's possible to improve on this by adding transition animations and a ghost or target for where you'll end up.

That said, finding out the route by trial and error was also fun.

I wasn't a big fan on the effects filter. It made it difficult to focus on the puzzle aspect, as opposed to the simple low-rez artwork which allowed me to concentrate at the problem at hand.

The worst part of the game was the constant apologising and self-depreciation in footnotes. It's quite clearly a very technically capeable game that was completed within the time limit and didn't require excusing. The focus should've been about the game.
