Had fun with the game, the mood is spot on and the gameplay is solid. I did have a little problem with hitting the enemies with the sword felt like I needed to be quite spot on with the timing, made it a bit too hard when it was much easier just to fireball everyone!

@simanis Got a decent way through I think. I don't play games like this very often though so I might just be rubbish tbh.
Fireball should maybe go directly where you point and click not just straight forward to make this game more enjoyable. I also found it rather difficult to hit enemy with melee hits(tried again.. it appears you should just click on the enemy and thats enought for melee). I like that you can add more stats to make it easier to proceed. Took me several tries to reach the end. When you finish the game. Reborn should keep your levels. Would be true reborn way. Have you tried to make WebGL version for quicker access to the game?

@2games2easy thanks for the suggestions! Yeah, we tried the WebGL build, but it was very slow and didn't work at all on Google Chrome. I will try building some other platforms today.
To be honest, the fireball was made like this, because I'm not too good of a programmer and I had to get it done quickly :sweat_smile: Also, there is a bug currently that you keep the effect of your sin points after rebirth (but this is reset when you allocate the according sin point)
@Simanis oh I thought so, thats why the game got easier later xD I died at level 8 and didn“t upgrade anything and beat them one hit. Thought maybe my stat remained only level resets. At one point I just farmed the mobs at one place for levels xD

@2games2easy nice! I haven't gotten past lv 6 myself I think, because the exp requirements grow too fast
Having a button for melee would have been better in my opinion. But the rest is golden in my eye.

Nice level of polish on the UI! I just wish that the controls were a lot more fluid. What I'd also criticize is that the theme wasn't respected very much.
I really like the game!
The graphics are very good! I also liked the sin point system which gave the game a sense of progression. The sound effects and music do an excellent job of adding to the mood. One issue I found while playing is that the enemies could walk through walls (and through the air to other bridges). It might be possible to adapt the pathfinding system that the player uses for the enemies to avoid this. But overall, very good game!

What I liked: * The graphics * The audio * The mood * The story
What I didn't like: * Holding down left mouse button didn't continue moving * Some enemies did damage after they died
Bugs: * It is possible to glitch through the wall in some tight places and then you can wslk out of the map * 2 enemies spawning in eachother and thus making it hard to predict
Wrath only char too OP

You've definitely got a good oldschool vibe going here. It took me a while to figure out I could level up, and after I did that it was an easy trip to the final boss. The graphics are a nice throwback, and the music/atmospherics cerate a very solid mood.
I would've liked to have seen more depth to the game play, I was repeating the same behavior a lot. The left-click heavy controls didn't help in that regard. WASD controls would have felt like more direct agency, I think.

@flaterectomy hey, thanks for the feedback! Personally, I prefer the mouse controls for these kind of games, but I see your point. As others have said, it would probably be better if you could click and hold down to move

The graphics is really amazing and the mood is perfect. Got that nostalgic feeling of playing Diablo back in the days. And yes, the story is touching. Very well done!
This is a pretty cool game. It has a really nice old school vibe about it

Loved the mood of the game, at first found the level a bit hard to read aesthetically, for example the surfaces you can walk on or cant. the controls were great, as well enjoyed the experience, would love to see more games like this :)

Wow, I love this diablo-dirtypixel artstyle.
The fact that I could not use the sword took me out of the experience. But the art style is amazing!
