It's a nice little game. The gameplay is decent and the concept is executed nicely. There are some little things to note in my opinion, however.
**1)** The sliding after stopping movement is a bit annoying, but nothing impossible to deal with.
**2)** It might be better if you could point the aiming direction with mouse instead of turning to specific directions.
**3)** The projectiles that the guy shot were a bit... strange. Sometimes the projectiles were shot into random directions, mostly when moving.
Aside from all that, this is a nice time killer and with some more work it could be a great little mobile game for example. Nice job!
Thank you fingamer for the feedback I will be making a after Ludum Dare version that will be more polished. I will be sure to take you advise.
Nice little game, I hope you enjoyed the jam. It would only get better though. So as someone pointed out earlier, there is a lot of things that can be improved, such as the indication of a lot of things like health, goal(s), etc. The control should be done such that I go up but can still shoot down though, so its more intuitive. One thing I love in your game is the momentum, it feels very nice and not too much. Good start!
Thank you for you feedback it is greatly appreciated and I enjoyed the jam it was vary stressful though. I will take all you said into consideration when making the after Ludum Dare version. What do you mean by the indication of health and goals.
Well done for completing your LD game :) !! Though this creation is simple it's still pretty fun and the little shooting sound effect is great ! It was hard for me to get very far because I have an AZER keyboard (not great with WASD controls). Anyway great job, keep it up :) !!
Thanks for the rating Noa. I love your tutorials. And in the after Ludum Dare version key binds will be customizable

Though kept very simple, the game in it's core works well! The fact that you turn around with WASD instead of the mouse took some getting used to. Would've been smoother to have shooting directions depend on your mouse cursor imo. Also some background music would've been a good addition!

Congrats on finishing a game! I really enjoyed playing this. Despite not being a technical marvel I had a lot of fun, and that is what counts! I do agree with the points @fingamer comes up with. It would be nice if the player character was a bit more responsive to the input. Also a score counter in-game would be nice. Overall well done!!
Thank you @yomalolo @drtizzle for ratting my game. As mentioned above I will be making a after LD version consider following me on itch to be the first to play it.
Thanks

The physics in this game have a tindency to act a little strangely, but I canned deny I had a good timing playing it. Really opened me up to new ideas.
@mediyaz thank you for the feedback!
