Love the gun mechanics!
Mad scientists :white_check_mark: Destroyable map :white_check_mark: Lots of power-ups :white_check_mark:
Although the theme was captured very well, the gameplay was a bit too bland — could use more enemies, traps, turrets etc. to keep it moving. Without them, there were quite many completely empty areas where your only solution was shooting at the ceiling to progress, which is part of the game but gets old pretty fast. The little easter eggs and powerups were fun, though, and given it was still a jam game, the outcome was solid. Loved the backgrounds and other nice touches here and there.
The lessening of the field of view with a powerup is kinda annoying. Also, it seems to me that the weapon has a low range. When I try and kill the robot in the start of the level, the lazer beam vanishes before it gets to the robot, which kinda sucks.
I love the 3D models, though. And the destructable platforms are really cool.
The 3D models and animations were good. I couldn't really figure out what to do, though. I ran around a bit, and blew up a robot, and then got stuck. I had a hard time getting around because it got dark unless I shot my gun a lot, which didn't make sense.
I really like the models and the concept but I found the game a bit confusing because of the darkening and the destroy-able floors (I think you should not be able to destroy the floors and fall to death).
Interesting concept and once I switched to the jetpack things got a lot more enjoyable until I could not control the jetpack any longer. Wish the gun could also rebuild destroyed floors as I think that would make for an interesting mechanic.
