Great mood (atmosphere) and nice pixel-art graphics! The audio and gameplay are very repetitive though, I wish there were different types of enemies. Good job.

The slicing and dicing feels nice and the aesthetic + sound is pleasing. Although I feel that the enemies have way too much hitpoints.

@gus-the-shark Yeah, I had more enemy classes in mind. However, this was my first time doing sprite based animations, so drawing and animating them took me a lot of time.

Like others said shift key to attack caused a problem for me too but I had fun trying to figure out the best way to take on these enemies. overall well done!

I changed the attack key to something less offensive. Honestly, I thought most people would have the accessibility thing turned off.

You've really nailed the art, scene, and character design on this game! I think it all fits well together with the music. I do find it a bit frustrating that the gun shooting people wreck me and keep hiding behind the melee enemies.

the art and mood is pretty good, but gameplay has serious issues: hold space, spam Z, youll never die

you could try to telegraph the attack of melee enemies, and make them jump too maybe, or make them able to hurt you while jumping

btw +1 for metal lol

Nice pixel art, the mood feels great and the music ties it together nicely. This game is hard but enjoyable.
