I'd love to play because this sounds like a very interesting game, but the download links appear to be "invalid". Please update!
Ok, updated the new version. To play just click the left button on menu
Thanks for updating. I managed to take the big diamond and started looking at pickle rick!!! and mr bean. Cool game.
I like the limited color palette. The collision detection was a little hard to judge on the lasers but I managed to slip through and grab pickle rick after a few tries :P
This is really well done! I'm impressed with how elaborate the level design is, particularly for a compo game. The lasers are a little unforgiving since you can't see yourself, but they're a challenge I kept coming back to. Pleasant music composition as well. Nice work.
Nice work, really great use of the theme. In retrospect, stealing things and dealing with the issues of having more at once was something I should have tried, it only occurred to me about 2/3rds into the compo, haha.
Extra points for the challenges :D
It is longer than expected. For a compo, I'm quite impressed.
Really neat game. Elegant and sensible use of the theme, and a fun mechanic. A little hard to judge the size of your hitbox.
I stole the triforce! :D I like the graphics, I think the limitations on the palette can actually be a pretty good thing :) The only frustrating bit was perhaps the laser hitboxes. There were times when I was hit by the laser and it didn't seem to touch me. But overall, good idea, and fun entry!
Enjoyed exploring the world. It is well put together with verticality to boot. The audiovisuals are good too.
Dodging laser beams and stealing art is less exciting in the long run. Trying to steal more and more without tripping an alarm is a legit challenge, but redoing the same segments multiple times does take its toll. In the end I managed 7600 big ones, only left the two story room in the back and the massive painting topside alone on that run. Those are too risky ventures.
Could use some more movement abilities, crouching combined with a quick, short-range dash would fit well. Mastering the current set of abilities (can you even call basic movement that?) is too easy. Some gadgets are worth considering too. I find it hard to swallow that any bloke with a car can just waltz in and nick valuables left and right.
Good work.
