"Also, make sure you’ve used the game engine ahead of time or you will waste a ton of time on easily avoided bugs…" I experienced exactly the same thing... it even happens when you made the engine you develop with :)
I didn't get to play your game because I have a mac, but I looked at your source code and it seemed pretty interesting. Based on that and the screenshots I think you did pretty good all things considered

Cool, the art style reminds me of Papers Please, couldn't figure out the game system after giving it a couple tries. I think the in-game Instructions are important.

I truly felt the thankless position the great leader must have to endure. More steel! Less Waste on those who do not fulfill the the great leaders visionary will.

Looks nice. But honestly I didn't quite understand the goal. I'm supposed to reward revolutionaries and punish reactionaries by adjusting ration. Does that mean if I didn't do either of them I'll get chairman's warning? If so I think the core strategy is to maintain the ration at 2 or 3 so no matter a familly be comes revolutionary or reactionary I'll have enough ration to adjust. Not sure about it. Suggest write that in instructions. And I'm not sure how this is connected to the steel quato.
