Would be nice to have a crosshair on your mouse or a line coming out of the player to see where abouts the bullet will hit. Also some sort of information about how to play the game would be helpful

It's hard to realize what's happening regarding the gameplay itself. The game also looks quite imbalanced from my playtime. Probably try to add a faster speed rate gun?
I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. The add fuel does nothing? Also got stuck on walls a lot. Nice GFX tho!

Mabey a bit too late but here are the instructions: You are Matt the cyborg and your mission is to stay alive. Your power is running out with every shot you take so be carefull with evrey shot.
WASD/Arrows to move Mouse to aim LMB to shoot
Enemies drop fuel and can be insertes in generators. A message is displayed if you can insert the fuel. When fuel is inserted, the generator slowy produces power.
Enemies do try to destroy your generator so protecting them is ecential.
A standard shooter defense mission with a *twist*! The twist being super fast bug enemies and a generator which keeps popping up after been destroyed countless times. Oh and an energy mechanic too, but that is par for the course in this jam.
The generator respawning is the most curious idea here. Usually in these sort of titles the generator has a lot of health and if you fail to defend it then it is the end, try again. I think that would have worked here too.
The fast enemies I can deal with, but maybe they should spawn from the edges of the screen not from a random position. Sometimes there is barely any time to react.
Having to spam the F button is another small issue. Holding it down would be much less annoying.
Ok effort this. More polish and playtesting would have gone a long way.
Fun game, but needs more polishing: - Rigidbodies does not work as it should on player(hit enemy and then collision launched me in the top of the level and I could not move for some seconds), - Bullet physics could be better - it looks very funny, when bullet has side force and goes diagonally, not straight - Power generator is too weak, it gets destroyed too fast.
After polishing it could be a very awesome game.
Good attempt only i could not really play it often after i picked something up my guy kept walking and got stuck to the walls. Also the green enemies were a bit hard to kill i think.
I like the idea but I don't understand what is happening when I play, the character seems to move in a certain direction in some cases and get stuck in the wall and in other cases he moves correctly according to the keys I press. I don't know if this is a bug or intended. otherwise, I had fun shooting the spiders and I still don't understand if adding fuel makes a difference since I get overwhelmed by enemies quickly and don't have time to explore the mechanics. Overall, fun game but needs some polishing.
Overall, I just had trouble keeping up with the pace of the game. Before I knew what was going on or how to play, there were already enemies everywhere. I think a bit more time for the player to learn the game, along with a lower ramp up of difficulty could turn this into something mushc more promising. Thanks for building this for the jam!
I liked the concept of the game a fair amount! I like the having to make the judgement call of picking up one of the super powerful upgrades considering that if I misuse it I will just die anyways. It was a fun game but there were a few issues that prevented me from being able to actually enjoy it. The shooting didn't work right at time as it would try to select text on the rest of the page when I moved the mouse within the bounds of the game. I don't know if there was also issues with pressing multiple buttons at the same time but I would often find the controls suddenly completely unresponsive.
I agree with the sentiments of enemies spawning requiring fixing as well as generator health rebalanced, but overall I enjoyed your entry!
