Great game, Rami! By the way, web link fails to load index.html. Anyway, really great for your first LD! Probably, gravity could be more noticeable :D

Oh, you really can't stop to look at the view (or info messages, for that matter :D ) with these fast-paced levels.

I really wanted to play this further, but occasionally there was a bug that prevented me from lifting up boxes... :<

Pretty fun game. I was so focused on looking at the levels themselves that I didn't notice some of the tricks you could do like wall jumping or standing on the battery tiles to recharge.

Great concept. It wasn't until I was going to leave a comment that I saw you could recharge by standing on the battery tile. You should add a beep or something to indicate that since it wasn't obvious. Like mentioned above I found the gravity a little "floaty" too. Overal really impressive and I think if you tweak the difficulty a bit and clean up a few of the other issues it could be a really solid game to show off what LIKO-12 could do.

A hectic real-time puzzle game. Perhaps in the early stages, you should have an initial safety period to read the instructions?

After the tutorial, the levels get impressively complex, and seem to do a lot with simple mechanics. The difficulty is not for the weak-hearted, but I for one enjoyed what you did here.

@verysoftwares You can stand on the ground battery tiles (In the end of each level), they recharge you, I must add a screenshot for making this clear.

Very nice game! It's simple but challenging :)

Time: 11:06 Deaths: 19

Very impressive. At times the game was very unforgiving - there wasn't always too much room for errors. But difficulty wasn't frustrating - my only frustrations arose from moments like when the box was difficult to take with or the physics made it hard to drop into one tile wide shafts. It was fun nonetheless, I would like to play this further!

That was pretty fun and heart pumping action! Some critiques though: it wasn't very apparent that standing on the green buttons recharge your character until that mazelike stage (and I personally think that takes away from the mad scramble of the game with resource management). The platforming wasn't very smooth for such a twitchy platformer, as apparent in the mazelike stage as well where your character seems to glide for a second in midair before falling down a chute, so sometimes it felt like unnecessary difficulty. Double jumping/wall jumping wasn't very clearly communicated as well. Could do with more stages and a soundtrack, but all in all a nice balance between twitchy platforming and puzzley action!

Super awesome game! Sounds and graphics were spot on. Managed to finish it with a negative score and 16 deaths :)

Having controller support and even remappable controls is always a huge plus.

My biggest gripe would be how hard it was sometimes to get in line for a single tile gap drop / jump up because of the fast character movement. I can't even tell how many times I messed up by overshooting few times and then had to retreat back to a battery before trying again. Also the wall hugginess when dropping down one tile gaps was a bit too aggressive.

Dunno if you ever introduced the wall jumping mechanic. I think I read all the messages but didn't see anything about it and discovered it accidentally in the last "real" level. Dunno if you even need it, seems like you can almost always be carrying a box and do the jumps with it.

Level usage and box carrying could be different buttons. Messed up many times because of not realizing I was carrying a box when going for a level. Then I pick up the box and switch the level at the same time, panic and eventually run out of battery.

Good job! Hope to see something as awesome as this (or even better since you'll have more experience) from you on the next LD...

Fun game!

I liked the battery mechanic best on the levels where you either had to race through a fairly obvious path, or on the later levels where you were generous with the green charging pads to give the player a chance to stop and think partially through. I thought it was iffier in the pure puzzle levels without "safezones", generally I found the effect it had on me is that was too pressured to really feel comfortable observing what the levers did and such. Maybe frantic puzzle solving was the sort of feeling you were going for, but I didn't find the time limit synergized well for my tastes during these levels.

I thought the controls could have been vastly improved with some quick tweaks. In particular I found it possible to finely adjust my position, it seems like even the finest tap of the arrow keys moves your character an entire block.

Nice game, and it's a great effort for your first LD. Hope to see what you make next jam!

I have used LÖVE for a while but had no clue such nice games could be make using LIKO-12! The level design is really nice, and I enjoyed the audio too. It took me a while to figure out about wall jumping (there was a jump that required it in one of the last levels). Nice work!

Really fun game with unique mechanics. Graphics and sounds are awesome. Great entry for Ludum Dare. One of the best games I've played so far :)

I really loved it! Cool graphics, nice music, interesting gameplay!

Thanks for all the awesome reviews :D

Dude, this was really well done! It reminded me a lot of some games I played when young on my father's japanese NEC computer. Thanks to the fantasy console, it really captures that retro feeling, while also being really charming!

The graphics are simple, but they do fit the style so well, and the audio's also another great point! Controls felt really good to play too!

Great job there!
