I like the game concept, there are a few things to learn to understand it well (reminded me of the Smallworld board game). But the rushing strategy seems to be the best way of winning, with the Archer and the Knight I sent the Archer pick up the king and the Knight go on the tower and I won without fighting the ennemy even once. With a bit more balancing, I think this game can become something really nice to play with. :relaxed:
Graphics are really pleasant !

Nice and polish graphics :) Your entry is good :)
The game is really fun. But it seems like it's pointless to fight the enemies, they are way too strong and numerous, or maybe I'm missing something about the combat. The only way I could win was by rushing to the king and coming back to the castle before any enemies killed me. I would have one character stay back and draw the enemies, while the other just rushed.
**the good** great graphics and artistic style, and very polished looking. good gameplay concept, encourages players for having good strategy
**the bad** in-game tips would be much nicer than that cheat sheet displayed in the beginning. not enough variety in strategy. I think having different levels with fewer enemy spawners and larger areas would add a **ton** to replayability.
I hope you enjoyed your Ludum Dare experience [:

It's a good game to play but sometimes to wait and fight can seem pointless as i was getting killed to easy. Very nice visually and smooth running game.

Great minimal graphics and eased animations, very pleasant to look at!
Some observations: - Played two rounds, and found that fighting the enemies was pointless almost all the time, better to grab the king and leg it without stopping; this could be addressed by nerfing the enemies and making combat a viable path, which leads to.. - The enemies are way, way too hard; extremely numerous and very powerful, forces the player to take the single route of rushing to win, as any other method is impossible to win with. - The big pop-up of information was overwhelming and far too long - a very condensed in-game tip system would've been far more effective in relaying important information in bite-sized chunks.
All in all, a decent entry, great work! Hope you enjoyed LD!

Super cool! I love the arts, they are cute, they reminds me the arts in the Spry Fox games :D Cool mecanics but some characters are too powerful, like the Elf or the Mage (or the Elf Mage xD ) I never win a game with the dwarf but I always win with the ELf :/
Despite that it's a really great game! Good job
*PS: I've watch your other works and it's really awesome, I think about use your JavaScript librarie a day! :D*
I'm not sure how much more I can add that I don't see in the comments already. Overall I liked this and it got a pretty good rating from me. It looks like a good proof of concept that could use more work on the basic systems like combat. I seems like if I ever engaged in combat I would be stuck doing that endlessly with no option to disengage and begin moving again. I think once that kind of design work is figured out you will have a great little game on your hands. There is certainly lots of promise here. One feature I would like to see is more boards/worlds. Either hand made or generated is fine--I just want more opportunities to explore the movement system and find optimal paths through the terrain (which was a really interesting part of the ruleset).

Great artistic part ! The enemies are too numerous and too aggressive so fighting them seems to be a bad strategy. Run you're fools !
The only turn based game! well done!
Nice entry, I like the concept. Adding a health bar for each character would be a good idea.
Quite liked it. I didn't feel like reading the rules so I tried figuring it out on my own and it was easy to understand :) Is the health of the players already implemented? Cause I didn't notice the enemies attacking or doing any damage.
Anyway, you did a good job, congrats!
