I downloaded and played your game. I think it's a pretty cool concept for a jam game. I really like the text style you used for your menus, and the user interface was pretty easy to understand, too. The gameplay is a bit slow - the ships move slowly and I actually won without ever having to attack :)
I did run across a couple bugs. The first time I ran the game, it crashed when I tried to move the third ship I built to my home planet, giving me this error screen: plutocrash.png
The second game, my planet slowly drifted off-screen as I played :D It was pretty funny, and maybe contributed to me winning without a fight.
Thanks for the game, it was fun!

Glad you enjoyed :) and yea that bug :-/ I want to fix it, but don't feel like it's with the rules. :(
Pluto drifting off screen :) I did try to fix that, but think I broke it again later haha :) oh well at least it will +1 to the humor I hope :) Thank you and I'm so glad you enjoyed playing the game!

The strategy approach to the theme is pretty interesting and I didn't encounter any game breaking bugs, but the gameplay is really confusing and the menus are pretty weird. The music is also a bit too noisy for my tastes and doesn't really fit too well for a space game. The space combat is a bit frustrating because of the bullets not being deleted after leaving the screen; predicting all of the bullets and dodging with the physics of the starship is a tad bit too much. Still, an interesting approach and the galactic emperor concept is pretty gud.

Thanks :) I made hitting a ship, or hitting the planet the only way that bullets are destroyed, I kinda hope it catches a few people off guard, something new and exciting :) (or terrible and exhilarating either is good) But either way, hopefully someone find it fun to play with a new tactic. Glad you didn't hit the bug as above.

It's really funny that the background story of both of our games and the idea that gave birth to all that was really simillar, yet the games theirselves are really different. Now, about your game, the gameplay it's kinda tricky (even after you have read the instructions), so maybe if you would have made a little more clear the buttons and the options you could use for the game it could have been way better. Also, you should have allowed the option to control your planet to make the game more exciting and don't make it feel as slow as it ended up being. The fighting parts were really challenging and the most entertaining thing about the game. Overall, I wouldn't say I was that entertained playing but I definitely thought it was interesting, so next time you should maybe do something a little more simple but that works and flows way better, keep up the work!. (Also I had the same error the first comment mentions happening to me, so you should be careful next time about that too!)

Your game remembered me of this little guy from Rick & Morty  Liked the overall gameplay and that you gave the player the choice to control the fights or just click 'auto resolve'. Imho you could speed the game up by 9999% but besides that it was fun to play^^
good job

Hah :) If I had of had the time and skill, I would have animated a face into the game that read you the story, it would have been a non (tm)/(c) face like that :)
Yay a Pluto game! We kinda have the same background story, but earth and Pluto are friends in my game :P
Great idea! I liked the battles the most. The building ships part was a bit slow. I would fix that bug though, you are allowed to fix bugs as long as you don't add new features.
