It was an interesting take. Only problem I found was that if I went to grab coffee (just because I felt like it, not with a prompt). I would forget what I needed to do. I went around hitting everything a few times until i realized I needed to turn on the light.

Nice game, although slightly depressing
I really liked the development of the second room, I just wish there was a bit more that tied into the game with it. Still, it did a good job of conveying the overall message. The graphics were quite effective, and sound design was pretty good.
Really interesting take on the theme. Maybe I would reduce the button mashing just a little bit so it is faster and more dynamic. Othrwise than that... I like it and I enjoyed plating it! :)
