Sorry, no idea what's going on in this game, instructions are very unclear, and not sure what any of the things are.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD37 → soup kitchen

I think it was the slightly different coloured hobo, but he was moving around on his own? How can you get soup if you never wander over near the people?
Updated the description on the page to clarify these issues. Thanks for the replies.
A bit interesting, the game and the commands were a bit complicated.
Even with the instructions, I didn't understand how to play, sorry.
I dig the chunky pixel art, but the player's sluggish movement drains the fun out of this. The sound effects are...interesting. But overall, I found myself actually wanting the time to end to see what the game over screen would display.
I'll echo the comments here. It's too difficult to figure out what's going on even with the instructions. I can't quite figure out what most of the icons are.
I commend you on making an authentic atari game ;)
Very confusing game, but was funny :) Liked the old school art, the music and the humour.
Interesting idea but you really need some indication of cool-down for the skills and a passive way to influence the character's movement. It all felt too random I'm afraid.
