Nice, de-stressing minigame. It works in Linux (java -jar NinjaBoiBreakOut-v113.jar). It became less fun (and more de-stressing) when you realize that you can hold down the mouse instead of clicking. Thanks for sharing your code!
I didn't immediately realize I could move around, so I spent a while in the middle wondering why shooting off the edge of the screen was killing so many targets. xD
It's a bit easy (I will admit I eventually killed myself when it became clear I would never lose), but fun for some target practice.

I think i found a dominant strategy in your game. Just stay on one of the corners of the room and spam shurikens towards the center.
The game needs more enemy types with unique AI. With them added this can turn in to a very addicting/fun game.
