Good job on the mechanics! Some glitching graphics, but for a Ludum Dare-game, it is hard to keep everything perfect :p

457m...I give up

Hey there, gave your game a play but was unable to complete it, struggling to open the safe with the various numbers found around the room (which I noticed were randomly generated, which was pretty cool).

Overall I think the game was a little too ambitious, even though there were some pretty cool things in there. I was impressed by the modelled/animated character, but I feel that for a first person game, there are much more important things to invest time into. I also noticed that the scale of the world was a bit large compared to the character.

Its a really cool concept and there were some neat ideas mixed in there, but I'd suggest for next time to focus on a simpler idea that you can thoroughly polish, with things like an in-game tutorial (something really simple, like a series of pictures), sound and focusing on the overall player experience.

(Side note: make sure next time to remove the starter content and all other assets in the project that you do not use, to make it easier for people to download)

Thanks for your comment, I intended to make a much larger game, in terms of gameplay and so forth, but time was not enough for me to complete the whole idea I had, then instead I had to kind of upload it the way it was.

I am hoping to upload a lighter version of the game in a few days though, hopefully people will play that instead.

So I think something is going weird here, I run the tutorial and... I'm able to immediately just click on the safe and get the key, without entering a code onto the pad on the left. But I can't use the key to get out at all.
Other things lead me to think this game just isn't running correctly for me, so I'll hold off on rating, like shift+E does nothing, I can't pick up things like the documents, and the above comment referring to randomly generated numbers which doesn't seem to be present when I ran the game several times.

I don't now why but the game isn't working on my PC!
I got win 7!
Does anyone else has this problem?

Graphics look a bit strange but for a game jam i can look past that, the games was pretty good, nice job

Interesting concept, controls felt a bit fidgity to me though, and not having a mouse on my laptop I couldn't find a way to use the scroll wheel bit. Required https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=35 before it would run on my machine. Beautiful graphics though.

I couldn't figure out how to get the item combining to work. I really wanted to put the battery in the flashlight (even though the room was already pretty lit)... Upon right clicking, the first item would show in the "Carrying out" area, but after swapping over to the other item I wanted to combine it with and right clicking again, nothing seemed to happen (also tried left clicking, and a different order). Either something broke, or I need more instructions, haha.

I wasn't sure if I was entering the safe code correctly... Every three interactions, the light on the keypad would turn green, then gray again. Couldn't get the safe open. But an indication of whether a sequence of 4 numbers was right or wrong would be helpful!

This is quite a bit of modeling work for a game jam though! I liked the overall feel of the room, and I had fun opening all the drawers even if there was nothing in most of them, haha. :P Good job.
