You will have to extract to desktop, plus it takes a while to download

Due to the fact that the impact holes stay where they are and don't follow the target when you call it to the player... it kinda takes the fun of trieing to be good as you can't see your result anyways.

The mouse isn't locked to the game screen for me which leads to an issue of having to restart the game after aiming a few times.. other than those two mentioned it seems to be solid game. Maybe add a score counter? Would make it more fun for me personally

Hahaha that reload animation is awesome! Not bad for a first game, and I liked how you even made it so that walking into the exit takes you to the menu. Nice attention to detail. Like Leeman said though, the mechanics aren't that great. Still, it's a good base to build upon if you want to keep working on it.

Yeah sry If anyone could tell me a way to have made the bullet holes move with the target feel free to i used raylines to produce the bullet holes and I needed a way to parent the overlay planes to the target you hit, and I just realized that on diff PCs the clock speed will mess with the reloading and make it mess up unless its a quad core I beleive, and if someone could tell me how to have locked the mouse to the screen that would be helpful too^

The reload animation seemed kind of wonky, my arms rotated down. The bullets also seem to have some kind of delay between the shot.

ranner198 2016-12-13 17:19

Yeah it has a 1 sec delay so it can reset correctly

Congratulations on first game. You went 3D, which I consider a good choice for learning. Now, what could be improved:

Shooting games need precision and recoil. For some reason I don't think the bullet travels in direction of shooting, and there is sadly no recoil. Missing sound for shoot is also kind of required as a feedback to player.

Pretty ace for your first game! Congrats you made a shooter : ) Had fun walking around with a gun, and the room actually looks quite nice, great work!

The animations were a bit wonky, and the reload one didn't really work right. It would have been more fun if the mouse didn't show up, but whatever, it worked fine. It was close to being really fun, but not there. Great job for a first game!
