Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description. (you can already find several games from the jam there)
Controls felt way too floaty to be reliable, and the lack of planetary gravity was a little disappointing. Interesting idea though!
With say, some inertial dampners, the ability to rotate with Q/E (pretty standard in other space games, like Space Engineers), and landing on planets ah-la Mario Galaxy, this could be quite fun.
A final nitpick: The presence of the Caveman's face in the middle of the screen is a bit unsettling.
Was hard trying to get used to the controls. I didn't notice the face at first and it scared the hell out of me haha. Good work in the short amount of time! Keep it up :)
Weirder than "Gust Busters 3", Smaller than the "the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy", and weaker than Superman. Okay the game is both crazy and really fun. The audio and graphics is pretty amazing, and the controls are just as bad as I expect them to be in this kind of game. So overall a super great game. Well done.
Great title screen!
The game was fun and a very different experience from anything else I played. It was really hard to control but I'm guessing that was at least somewhat intentional. Nice job.
Nice cavemen sound effects ! Great game, but the controls make this really hard, some kind of gravity / snap to surface would be nice.
