An unique art-style, nice job

Really neat art style.

Gameplay wasn't super interesting to me, unfortunately though. Not a whole lot of interesting decisions to make, so ultimately felt like I wasn't participating to a huge degree.

On the whole it does feel pretty well polished though, which is impressive for a Compo game. Good job on that!

@bogden, Thanks for the feedback I'm hopefully planning to make it more interesting moving forward.

Played on Android. Graphics are very nice, remind me of Reigns (was it an inspiration?). It's simple but cool! It would have been amazing to have some sort of deckbuilding element but it was made in a game jam so i'm not conplaining. It also feel very polished. Good job

yeah deck building is on the list of making a more cohesive, thanks for the feedback

I really like the art style. I was not sure about the mechanics of the combat system. How many actions can you take? Do you take alternating turns?

Also I once got stuck with zero Mana, only spells and no potions.

I would encourage you to keep working on it to work out the kinks in the mechanics, the presentation, especially the simple UI is already top notch.

The graphics are excellent, but the combat isn't that interesting. There are many options for you to give it more depth. Especially the spells could be more diverse, and maybe stronger weapons should also have drawbacks. I didn't really get the use of the armor value.
Some cards, like the +10 health are really worthless, since you lose health faster than you gain more.
But I think the game definetely has Potential.
