Wow, a linux only game... No problem for me, but you could have more vote by porting it to another platform.
It is really good as a whole and i like your concept here. Though it is only for linux so i had to switch in order to play it. But good try
Yeah guys, we've been short on time for the deadline. :( I've easily made an .exe for Windows from the SDL source with CodeBlocks the day after. I hope I can upload it soon.
I think you should pack a proper build. It's weird that I need to download 3 different resource archives separately (from a very slow hosting, btw).

I downloaded all four zips and extracted them to the same directory, then ran wildrunner.exe... and nothing. A command prompt pops up only to shortly close and nothing happen. Maybe build a proper installer?
I hadn't thought about using DropBox ... Now it's way easier, I feel stupid LOL

The game concept is very interesting . I think more attention to jump , improving the collision and physics would better leave the game !
I couldn´t run it, I click the .exe and a comand prompt shows up, then the window of the game appear but only shows me the controls.
When you said 7 developers I would have expected a bit more from the game. I liked the audio excepted the creepy girl laugh when you died. Animation was good, but you could have made different sprites for jumping. It was a bit strange for a kangaroo to basically fly over things.
Game well prepared.If not a bit simplistic. good continuation, good work.
Wasn't really sure what the point of the other forms was, other than maybe using them to bring the kangaroo down faster I suppose.
Good job for your first Ludum Dare entry! Sometimes the mechanics felt a bit weird, and the physics weren't the most realistic, but the concept, music, and art were great!
The animals were adorable. Being a tiny tiger running through a tunnel made me smile.

Welcome to Ludum Dare and gamedev guys ! This is a pretty cool entry you made there, especially for a first one. I enjoyed playing it, the game concept was interesting, the animations were pretty nice and audio was great. Physics could be improve a bit but it doesn't hurt the fun that much.
Nice game! Music was catchy, graphics were alright and the gameplay was interesting :)
