It's weird, I had only white cubes ... and the death not working ? But good work ;)

jacob2512 2016-04-18 19:57

Yup... this was a test build that we got in there... will be uploading a new version soon... thank you for testing!

Had to borrow my brother's Galaxy Note 4 for this despite having actually having a Cardboard headset on me (I own an iPhone) but we both found this pretty fun to play. Thankfully the game speed was quite fun and not too overwhelming whilst learning the mechanics. Our only gripe however was that the field of view could be a bit bigger so we couldn't see some of the red cubes that were blocked by our yellow ones plus the audio was apparently pretty quiet.

Looks great, and a unique idea. It's really hard without a cardboard though :)

jacob2512 2016-04-21 03:02

Thank you for taking the effort to play... we plan to put up a separate touch version soon!

jacob2512 2016-04-21 03:12

@Xanjos
Wow... Glad to hear you enjoyed it! We initially planned to put in transparency while hovering/clicking on the cubes, and music as well, but development was not as smooth as expected, and we had to make sacrifices... will try to incorporate your valuable feedback in a future version.. thanks!

fin_nolimit 2016-04-21 17:08

I think I'm going to have to get the Cardboard today!!! This experience was cool just on my phone. Excellent work guys

jacob2512 2016-04-22 06:31

Thank you @fin_nolimit!

marmpa 2016-04-23 10:03

Nice game.Though i understood how it work i could make the boxes move while i had the cardboard on so i could not progress. But it was really immersive.Though you will need to fix how to move the boxes :)

steven-pinto 2016-04-23 10:30

Awesome concept :)

terop 2016-04-23 13:46

nice textures on the cubes...

jacob2512 2016-04-24 13:43

thanks @Steven and @terop!

mayank-technical 2016-04-28 20:05

Tried it on nexus. Its really awesome game

adipson 2016-04-30 08:38

original concept ! :)

11schotter 2016-04-30 15:22

Gratz for VR!

jakass 2016-04-30 15:56

Woow! I love this idea! Nice!

fin_nolimit 2016-04-30 19:28

So I bought the Google Cardboard and this game rocks even more. There is not much you can do as far as games go because you can only press one button so you guys maximized the Google Cardboard potential!!! The music was an awesome touch as well. The only thing that I wish could be different is the speed as you go up in points. Like maybe make it go faster every 10 points. Either way you guys did a fantastic job. This will be a game that I keep on my phone and show my friends when ever I'm showing off the Google Cardboard and it's potential

rhastapunk 2016-05-01 11:27

Nice to see some VR here ^^ Was a nice entry with the "keep it simple" working really good. ¡Congrats!

jacob2512 2016-05-01 13:47

@fin_nolimit: we have the level progression mechanics in place, and were planning to have even multiple player cubes, instead of just 2, but things did not pan out, and our priority shifted to getting a complete game loop... will try to implement it in our next build :)

jacob2512 2016-05-01 13:49

Thanks to @MayankUnreal, @Adipson, @11Schotter, @jakass, and @rhastapunk for your kind words!

conno1234 2016-05-01 17:41

Very cool, but it felt clunky when the blocks completely blocked my view of the next puzzle. Overall, great work!

ruchirbapat 2016-05-01 23:43

cool gamei liked it good job

mordokay 2016-05-02 13:45

Great idea... As a programmer and someone who develops stuff for Cardboard and Gear VR I know how hard it is to keep a good refresh rate. The game runs fast and its also very fun to play. +1!

jacob2512 2016-05-03 05:38

thanks @charstar56 and @Mordokay!

jacob2512 2016-05-03 05:39

@conno1234: please check out out 'PostJam' version... we now activate transparency when clicking on the cubes.

radmars 2016-05-09 04:26

Really cool concept! Took some getting used to it but it's certainly fun. The speed was a bit high in parts so it felt like I had to jerk my neck around a bit to get the blocks in place which is a little scary :P Maybe making the blocks/distances smaller (or an FOV tweak?) would help there. My high score was 18. Nice work!

Nice game in VR, It will be a good example how a VR game looks like.
by the way, the source link was broken, would you share it again?
