Yep, that's a bullet hell :-) The difficulty curve could be flatter, you get hit hard pretty much right at the start. Maybe introduce more towerslots later in the game, start with one in the middle, then expand. Like Plants vs. Zombies did it with the lanes.

I was able to safe-spot due to the double turrets. other than that, it's a pertty nice entry for a first.

That's not a web build, that's a web page about the game. The link named "Web" made me think it would run on Linux :-/.
tomdeal: I thought about doing it, but time ran out. Next time I'll actually spend the previous weekend learning the tools. :P
Blobo: Had to drop a safe-spot killing feature in the late development and didn't think to make a another, maybe I'll do an extended version someday.
Soron: Oops, fixed. (and next time I'll use something a bit more cross-platform)

That really was bullet hell, you tricked me with your title! ;)
Good entry.

Turrets that shift shapes on a bullet hell game? Nice! :)
It's quite challenging, though, so I'd ask you to make it easier on the first-time player by increasing the difficulty bit by bit. ;)
Visually, the game's simple but the graphics work quite well and are pretty clean! Nice work! :)
Keep going! ;D

That's a nice start for a bullet hell game. Graphics look nice and it feels good! Usually bullet hell games are not quite as brutal :D
Usually the hit box is in the center of the ship and fairly small.
