I really enjoyed this one, not so much for it's innovation, but the fact that it was pretty fun. I was actually chuckling as I hexed enemies, bit them, shot sludge at them, and blocked them from leaving. And to cap it all off, my monster retired to a nice treasure chest in the Bahamas. I would make it clear the screen each time instead of just drawing on next line, as it gets a bit cluttered, and the ASCII graphics were a bit wonky, but it was fun. Great Job. :)
Loved it!!

Awesome entry! I love the range of moves and statuses, it feels like the battle system has just the right amount of depth :)
I also think the endgame is really cool, where it's up to you to decide between retiring vs. battling more foes knowing that you risk losing half your gold.
I LOVED this game, I thought at first that it was going to be a zork clone but you play as a monster but then I liked the fact that you were going for annoyance rather than kills, so you had to play carefully which was really innovative, the gameplay was really fun (especially pissing off heroes), parts of the game were really funny, the retirement and the style of combat in particular, there wasn't really anything for the mood though? Maybe some background ambient music or something. Overall REALLY loved the game.

Good use of theme. It's a bit easy to figure out what the optimal strategy is, but it made me giggle and I enjoyed it.
