The camera needs to keep up with me a little better. It's like the top of the screen is holding me back! Felt great to transform and rage some faces though. Neat game!

Regarding your game I'm actually kinda proud for finishing it without killing or attacking anyone! Achievement unlocked: "Pacifist"! I simply made them stumble on each other, in a way they wouldn't outrun me anymore... I'm a kind monster after all :p

Is it even possible to lose here? What's the challenge? Maybe if the player needed to preserve some shred of humanity in his character by avoiding confrontation as much as possible... Even then, there is simple not enough gameplay here. A good game is a series of interesting choices, and this game has none.

Could definitely do with some sound effects, it was pretty difficult to tell that I was doing any damage at all (or that I was taking damage). Like others said, the camera needs to be done something about, it's annoying to be at the top of the screen the entire time, and it's too easy. I never had more than one enemy on the screen, so all I had to do was spam Z. Mixing a running game with some kind of topdown brawler could probably be expanded on though, might be pretty cool.

Yeah I ran out of time pretty fast, had to move house on the Saturday so had little less then two days overall. I'm working on a post-compo version, with sounds and I'll add a flash for damage. The camera is a design decision, a gating mechanic while allowing you the full screen of motion. I'll looking to other solutions though. Also the reason there was only one enemy was because there is a bug that means multiple enemies will get stuck on each other, which I'll also fix in the post version.

The camera is a bit akward but the pixel graphics are awesome!!
