Really good entry! Some quick feedback - A reset button would have been nice, to respawn after dying. If there is one, I missed it - my fault. Carrot gun also seems to reload a little slowly, though I guess that just takes getting used too :)

Really nice game overall - enjoyed the look/feel of it and the audio :D Plus its always nice to see games that were programmed from scratch!

Hi ! Thanks for the feedback :) Yeah a reset or retry button should have been implemented. To be honnest I was late, the waves were the last thing to come in and I kinda forgot to add that button :p
I'm glad you liked the game overall, I'll try yours today :)

Really fun game, played it for an hour, love the sounds and graphics.

If there was only an easier way to just look for web based Ludum dare games. :(. Cant play this.

Game never downloaded :/ download speed is way too slow.

lo-x 2014-12-09 03:10

@Grindstorm Where do you live ? I tried and it looks fine but I can upload the game to a server closer from your place
@digibody I think the opposite, as a linux user web based games almost always don't work. Especially with Unity.

An interesting game idea! Played it for a bit, but was quickly killed :D Good job anyway

Had a hard time running on Linux:

./darkrabbit: error while loading shared libraries: libGLEW.so.1.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I downloaded glew from here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/glew/files/glew/1.8.0/

built it, and moved the files in the lib directory and it worked.

I liked the bomberman meets plants vs zombies style. That being said, an skewed isometric view with WASD keys is really difficult to get a hold on. That, and laying TNT and having someone walk on it directly got me killed a few times. Not having to exit when I lose is also a good feature.

Overall good job. :)

@Mokosh buttoa : hi and thanks for the feedback. Indeed a retry button is missing deeply. I'll add that glew lib file I forgot, thanks for pointing me out that issue :)
As for the iso it's indeed tricky at start, but I wanted to take the shot, it's actually my first game in 2D iso view. That's a lesson I learned for the next time :p

I enjoyed playing your game, great aesthetics and fun gameplay: good job ;)

PS: Dat voices <3

nitrodeus 2014-12-10 21:12

Wow really great entry, especially for the compo :)
great job !

harley77 2014-12-12 04:43

That is one sadistic rabbit. Great job! I don't know that I have come across anything quite like that.

6downstudios 2014-12-13 08:06

Funny stuff, and fun! Graphics are nifty too, it's a shame more people don't try isometric games for LD.
Nice job!

vladik-plays 2014-12-16 19:32

That was a great game. Love it!

sh1rogane 2014-12-16 19:55

Very fun game. The sound and graphics was good. Good job!

crazyrems 2014-12-16 20:07

Graphics are kinda poor, sounds are not so good.
I didn't enjoy the game, it looks too much unfinished to me, it needs more enemies and maps.
But the idea of the black rabbit is nice. Why does he hate so much kids ?

hendri 2014-12-16 20:08

Awesome game. I very much liked the sounds and graphics.

cxsquared 2014-12-16 20:16

Nice idea. The game is quite fun. A little more polish could turn this idea in to a great game.

lo-x 2014-12-16 20:50

@crazyrems : sorry you didn't like so much things. I couldn't add more maps as the theme is "Entire game on one screen". More enemies had been planned, but I hadn't enough time too implement them :( As explained in the description, Dark Rabbit hate kids because of his previous kid owner that tortured him so bad. So he decided to have is revenge.

@everyone-else : Thanks all of you for your feedback and nice comments :)
