Beautiful Presentation!
Brilliant to look at, great to listen to,
but a bit difficult to understand,
Looks like a great game!

Yes, I will agree with you that it's difficult to understand. I think if I had a rewrite I'd make the interface much simpler. In this case, where I was in art direction, I just really wanted to cram it full of neon. I my have got carried away.
yeah it was a bit tricky to get the hang of, but i love the retroness, especially the music.. That intro pic is awesome too
I had trouble with the UI as well. However the art and the music were pretty sweet!
Also the concept is quite neat.
Rather hard to get right, but I like the visuals.
Same problem with the UI, it took me a bit of time to get it.
Otherwise, nice and original idea, especially loved the sound
I didn't quite get how to play it, I'm afraid. I couldn't really understand what it was that the overlords wanted to survive. Love the humor and the colourful minimalistic style though! The music helped create a nice atmosphere as well.
It needs more feedback for success/failure/population change. Could use a tutorial otherwise. Maybe have a pool of fish that you can drag from instead of arrows?
Manufacturing the creatures from outside the splicing window feels a little odd.
Beautiful art & music.
Contrarly to what other said i really catched on fast on the UI, and had some really cool plays... it feels really like an oldie game , with the right amount of difficulty , reaaaly a good game , if I could vote(alas this time i didn't have time to participate...) This game would get rally good votes , less maybe the theme that reaaaly i dint feel ^^"
Nice game, though its hard to get it into a minute. I included it in part 28 of my Ludum Dare 30 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/Hmt93jxkWGQ
