Simple but effective! The game gets difficult quite fast, but it's pretty intuitive to play and it even seems bug-free.

Game-design wise, I would have suggested to make death only make the player go back to the spawn with 0 energy: not only it would make the game less frustrating, but it gives an actual reason for the player to go and create a few clones every once and a while. Otherwise it's clearly better to keep the energy until you have enough of it to create all the clones.

Another thing that would have been cool is to make the clone act as walls for the player. It would add a cool twist to the gameplay I think!

I actually planned to add the ability to create clone-walls that protect you, but I ran out of time :)

Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare!!

Really cool game! I think it has a lot of potential - Infecting stuff is awesome!

Art-wise, I think it would be nice to make the board look like a body part, that way you could start from the foot or something, and work your way up, infecting the whole body as you go :)

Not bad! Would be nice if it was paused at the start so I had a chance to read the instructions, but thankfully the first level was pretty easy. Also, welcome to LD!

Simple, and pretty fun. It did get a bit frustrating after the first 2 levels though. Nice job, especially for the first time.

You know, I am surprised by how much fun this little game is. The graphics and the lack of sounds hide a really good mechanic that just deserves a little extra care and attention. Good job!

There is a lot of work here and made alone ! You have to improve the controls for better fun ;) Well done, making levels in Ludum Dare is hard stuff.
