Definitely feel like this could sprout into an interesting TD, and any half decent TD is super addictive for me either way. With a litle expansion, this'd be awesome. Looking forward to the Jam/Kong version!

Gets pretty easy after a while, but with some expansion, it has a lot of potential!
Well I can't see the effects of other weapon, it seems my tower just stop firing when I select them. I also can't see any objective for invaders, and could not make the upsurge command work too... Did I missed something ?
Seemed fun, although I got pretty far ahead of the curve pretty early on, and was just killing all those evil B's. I couldn't see much of a difference between the upgraded weapons and the basic one; I eventually just stuck with basic because it was doing the job. Also, the surge thing never seemed to do much either, but maybe I was missing something. It worked well, though, and looks like the basis for something fun. Nice work!
I really don't see where this is different from any common tower defense game (Beside it being not balanced at all)? The evolving AI is hardly observable when building 8 towers in a row will be enough to kill everything that passes for hours (thats what i did). Changing weapon type doesn't seem to have an effect for me. Upsurge only seemd to work randomly. Did I miss something?
I put down 3 basic towers, with one upgraded one, and I was able to leave the game running for about 30 minutes. None of the other towers seem to do anything.
A good effort, I hope you come back to this and build it up further. I would have liked either some interesting pathing forced by the terrain or cheaper turrets so I could build big paths for the enemies with structures. Is there a win condition? I wound up setting up an impassable defense and just letting it run.
Thank you guys all so much for playing this! As you can tell, much of the functionality is... well... unfunctional. XD
The main difference between this TD and others is that:
A: It's terrible
B: It was developed in about 30 hours
