Yup, it's XNA :(
Quite buggy, but i like the idea
I thought this was a really neat concept. The biggest issue I had was that when the detail window on the right hand side opened I could not figure out how to get it to close. Other than that there wasn't anything majorly wrong with it.
Although the screen itself is a bit large...
I quite like the concept of evolving your army of creatures throughout the game. Although I only made it to wave 4, I had fun playing. Well done! :)
Nice take on the tower defense theme. I found that the screen on the right covered up the building options. I found I quickly got swamped and lost my creatures. Might have made more sense if there were less options / parts that made up each creature. I could see you were going for detail to do with how the creatures were made up, but I'm not sure it quite paid off.
Thanks for the feedback guys! Markavian you're right, I definitely should have gone for a much simpler creature system instead of running out of time and having everything half baked. As for the detail window on the right covering stuff, I forgot about different window resolutions >_<
The detail window covered my building options too, but I can see what you were trying to do and its a cool idea. More instructions would also be nice; I wasn't entirely sure of what I was doing.
Interesting game. I had the same problems with the display panel (using 1360 x 768 res)--in fact, I didn't even notice the build buttons the first time I tried the game and was rather confused about what to do. If you've assigned a key to close it, you may want to mention it.
I like how the island is randomly generated!
nice randomization -- not sure what i was supposed to do -- nice effort.
cool idea. I got a few waves in, but the detail window was blocking many of my options.
