Annoying that I had to download an engine for it to work.

It crashed part way through so I was unable to play it, sorry.

Crashes at the same place, about fifteen seconds from the start

Would be a good idea to create an executable for easier distribution, not everyone wants to download extra frame works on engines onto their computers-

That aside, It is difficult to judge, and the game crashes after 10 seconds in. The graphics are so and so, but I dont really know about having shading on the 8-bit graphics if you wanted to keep them so pixelated, might as well kept the look :).

Otherwise, There is a decent loop in the background, but no sound effects from fireing and doing the sort, and from what I can judge from the gameplay, its rather simple, but ok. In my books its slightly skims the surface of theme "Alone", but it is easy to forget with enemies buzzing by constantly.

Anyway, a solid attempt, if wouldnt crash.

I can't play it: can't create framebuffer (main.lua:42) Also, next time try to make a standalone executable; it is so easy in Löve2D...

Sorry about the crashing. It was a garbage collection issue, which I never ran into on my computer. I've made changes so it should work now.

Also sorry about forcing the engine download, but love is doesn't really do exe's well. Lesson learned, next time I won't use love.

Thank you all for trying my game.

I've created Windows and Mac executables.

I've seen a ton of space shooters in this LD, and I'm not sure why. The 'alone' theme doesn't really make me think of a ship fighting against waves and waves of enemies, but that's just me picking on you after a marathon session of rating games. I dig the 'retro but not' graphic style and the control scheme is definitely different from other space shooters.
