I like the theme, but there is not too much game.
And I think you should link to it in a way so the game starts after using the link.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD22 → No Mother Alone

nice interpretation for this theme. You have a lot of supermarket products :) The navigation for changing supermarket aisle is not easy to handle, I tried 2-3 times before understanding...
You should change your web link to actually go to the game not your github page.
Thanks for the comments, guys! :)
@andrebeton : yes, not much game at all. I had originally wanted other adults, and the whole point of 'looking up' was to look at their faces to find your mother amongst them. But, you know. 2 days and all. :P I actually had it set up where it was starting as soon as you load the page, but it was having some problems, so I changed it to a start button. Did I mention I have no idea what I'm doing?
@Benjamin : Thanks. Yes, I wanted to add a 'transition animation', but didn't have time, and I didn't know how to do that anyway.
@kato9 : I would love to, but I have never hosted anything before. I couldn't find any free hosting that let me serve up a javascript game.
Can't figure out how to play.
I quite liked this :) Nice interpretation of the theme, with the added creepiness of a lost child and the death of a universe amidst plaintiff cries of "mama".
Did you do the music yourself? If so, awesome! If not, you might want to be aware that you aren't allowed to use music you didn't do in compo games.
No, I didn't make the music. I thought we could use sound effects/music if they were public domain. Oops. Thanks for pointing this out!
I love this game, despite not really getting anywhere with it. I couldn't seem to get the aisle changing working.
All of your links link to the web game, which is weird.
Love the concept! :)
