Well I think it bugged here. No compass, no nothing. Just a white field saying "Waiting for players" and 1/1. I moved along almost the whole level and found nothing. Well, it sure fitted the "Alone" theme though..
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD22 → December is a Good Month for Dying

The game only starts after 3 players have joined.
Haha, "Waiting for players. 1/3"
Very fitting, yet unfortunate, that this will be the experience most people have with your game. :P
I'll keep trying back occasionally, maybe I'll get lucky.
So, the way I played this game, was by opening the page 3 times.
Got totaly blown away by the starting sound, my speakers where all the way open.
My only comment, without friends or #ludumdare, it's hard to play ; )
Nibelung and Phen said my thoughts pretty well. I applaud your ambition to do a multiplayer game, but to show off all the effort you put into the game, perhaps a standalone version with AI might have been apt. I really dig your character design though.
I finally reached a game with 2 other people, I died :(
Not sure a multiplayer game is the best choice for the ludumdare
The fuck with the starting sound! I had to open three pages to be able to start and then I was ear-raped. Anyway, I don't think a multiplayer game is a very wise choice for a LD48 entry and I couldn't really enjoy the game playing by myself, which is kind of ironic given the theme.
I was forced to try this alone. I'd like to get my friends together later to attempt a real multiplayer, though I suspect the game is best with strangers.
I think the mood and theme are spectacular when you spend most of your time wandering alone hoping to see another person, only to open fire on them once you do. Doesn't make it very fun, though.
Pretty much what people above said. Might be interesting, but multiplayer games without some single-player options aren't very good for LD48. Starting sound makes you a horrible, horrible person and you'll probably go to hell for that. :[
