Oct 20 20:09:49 defrag.exe ♥ 0 Cute jam entry! Definitely reminds me of the 'old tech' of having to defrag my old hard drive. I enjoyed dragging files around to defrag them. Nothing beats a good old cleanup of a messy hard drive. Played it on Newgrounds now and still encountered the bug, I'll give it another go after the bug is fixed :)
Oct 20 20:24:54 15m 05s old-tech-recovery ♥ 1 I really like the premise of the game, and the strong references to other games (Zelda, Rogue, Survivors). The background ascii effects are beautiful, I really want to learn to make these. And dialogues were hilarious! :D I gave it several tries, but when entering combat arenas, they were either very tedious (many enemies, slow attack rate), or downright impossible (I hit the boss for several minutes with the sword and nothing happens). That's too bad because I think there is more content in this game that I don't want to miss. If you plan to fix this, I'll be happy to give it another go. If not, that's OK too. What you did was great for a jam either way:)
Oct 20 20:31:59 7m 05s Project Hail Meowy ♥ 1 Punch-card controls are a really great use of the theme! I enjoyed punching cards to strategize and punch some spaceships!
Oct 26 19:27:29 142h 55m ANIMAL BAR TYCOON ♥ 1 A really cute incremental game around serving cats in your bar. It took me several turns to realize all of the mechanics, but I'm glad I didn't give up, because I found a very deep game where your ability to progress relies on several upgrades and systems, all of which create a really fun experience as I build my cat bar. I really enjoyed it and played until the 6000$ milestone. A very good entry, very impressive for the short time of this jam.
Oct 26 19:40:25 12m 56s While the Lantern Burns ♥ 1 I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, I think you really nailed the 2d-shadow thing. I was able to load the gun once but not again, and was killed by the monster. I think the feedback above covers everything I had to say, but overall great entry for such a short time, I enjoyed it even though I didn't finish it.
Oct 26 19:53:22 12m 57s Snakia ♥ 1 Ha! A NES game mimicking a finger mimicking playing on a Nokia! A sweet take on the theme. I also really like indirect-control games. Controlling the finger, rather than the snake, was a really cool take on the old-tech theme. You got this right!
Oct 26 20:10:02 16m 40s Leonardo's Space AdVinci ♥ 2 Great game! I really enjoy gravity-based games, and this one is no exception! Also, "stylized" art is always better than generic art. And could it get more stylized then the renaissance itself?
Oct 26 20:26:51 16m 49s REWIND 3000 ♥ 1 What happens if you rewind a cassette too much? WAY TOO MUCH? I really liked the (shader?) effect of the fast rewinding bending the space and ripping a hole in the space-time-continuum. Played through to the end. Really cool entry! You got the theme perfectly. I'll never look the same way again at rewinding a cassette! (I'll never look again at rewinding a tape anyway because I don't own any cassettes)
Oct 26 20:30:52 4m 01s SnakeSketch ♥ 0 Definitely some old tech there! This was a blast from the past. These knobs were always tricky to control, which makes them perfect candidates for a snake-like game. The game is simple, but I still found myself strategizing about the best path to take. Cool entry! I enjoyed fiddling with it.
Oct 26 20:49:14 18m 22s Retroid Zania ♥ 1 Cool game! A bunch of old-timers there. Got to the finish line. I enjoyed how collecting coins across several oldies are supporting each other as you progress to buy and use tools across surfaces, each presenting a unique gameplay and some thought provoking puzzles (like trapping that Z enemy behind that door)
