Apr 20 20:42:00 Sucking Lighthouse ♥ 1 Honestly, it took me a while to realize you can actually switch tools with 1-2-3. Pretty simple game, too short and not very intuitive. But the concept deserves praise.
Apr 20 20:45:19 3m 19s Plume Tactics ♥ 1 The art style is amazing! The idea is original too. I'd gladly play something like this. It's a shame there's no actual game.
Apr 20 21:19:50 34m 31s LEFT ON RED ♥ 3 A great, cohesive game! The music is a bit repetitive, but overall it fits the atmosphere. Cool intro cutscene and pretty decent gameplay. A bit buggy though. At some point I kept getting stuck and couldn't walk. I had to move around by dodge-rolling. Also, after the timer ran out I expected to see a victory screen, but that's not really a big deal. Overall, a solid, short entry.
Apr 22 11:37:10 38h 17m Space PPT ♥ 1 Decoding Morse code is a great mechanic, in my opinion. I used it myself in two of my previous Ludum projects. However, I've come to realize that not everyone enjoys it. For many players, it's actually quite hard to grasp as a concept. So after getting feedback like that, I stopped adding Morse code to my games. Overall, you made a pretty nice little game. A bit of music or ambient sound in the background wouldn't hurt, of course. The beep sound design itself was really pleasant.
Apr 23 08:29:59 20h 52m Ray of Hope ♥ 1 I really liked the pixelization and the atmosphere. The "god rays" also look very cool. The default ProBuilder textures are immediately noticeable, but they kind of fit the "laboratory" theme. The music is deep and atmospheric. It fits the overall design really well. The only downside is that it restarts from the beginning if you minimize the window. I was a bit disappointed that going to the right tower wasn't necessary. The final cutscene, unexpectedly, added depth to the story, which I was really pleased about. However, I can't say the music choice for it was perfect. Overall - a really good entry. Short, atmospheric, visually pleasing. And even with a story.
Apr 23 11:16:17 2h 46m FISTAL ♥ 1 Oh god, these controls... I somehow managed to beat it using only one movement key and the mouse. The gameplay itself is pretty decent, I liked the UI for setting power/Hz. The game is clearly missing some ambient sound and music. But those explosions were basically jumpscares. I didn't expect them to be so loud. I tried all the frequencies, but in practice you only need two to beat the game, which feels like a missed opportunity. Overall, aside from a couple of shortcomings, it's a pretty decent game for a first game jam.
Apr 23 12:39:19 1h 23m Appeau ♥ 1 I won't lie - this was way harder than I expected! The mechanics seem really simple, but figuring out all the little details was genuinely interesting. How to keep the squirrels from moving in a pack, how to make sure the food goes to the specific squirrels that need it, how to tell a tamed squirrel from a wild one. Honestly, this is great gameplay! And I'm really glad there was no tutorial and I had to figure everything out on my own! The art style is pleasant, the squirrels are cute. The game turned out great! appeau.png
Apr 27 13:21:39 96h 42m Last Brain Cell ♥ 1 Unfortunately, I wasn't able to launch it due to an error related to Vulkan. According to the rules, you are allowed to update the game after the submission date if it contains a critical bug that prevents it from launching.
Apr 27 13:34:25 12m 46s Receive & Repeat ♥ 1 Love this type of games! Very fun and great entry overall!
Apr 28 08:30:13 18h 55m Signal Towers ♥ 1 Cool idea. This could be turned into a proper game, especially for phones. But two levels really isn't enough. Hope I'll get to see the finished version someday.
Apr 28 09:08:25 38m 12s Call Inc. ♥ 3 Whoa! Surprisingly engaging management game! The concept is neat, though I think it could use a more detailed tutorial. The music is great, unobtrusive and relaxing. Exactly what a game like this needs. The art is charming (especially the menu screen). After getting the "You have finished the available content" message, I genuinely kept playing anyway. So you must've done something right.
Apr 28 09:45:48 37m 23s Trot in the Poly-verse ♥ 0 The game fits the theme perfectly. The controls took some getting used to at first (I'm really not a fan of inverted camera controls), but after a few attempts I adjusted. The graphics are solid, and the music suits the theme well without being annoying.
May 1 07:29:17 69h 43m The Depths Listen ♥ 1 Great visuals and atmosphere! The decryption seemed too complicated at first, but then it clicked for me. You made a great game!
