Oct 9 10:39:14 Butterfly Gathering ♥ 3 Would have loved a way of knowing quickly what triggered what kind of butterfly, drawing symbols to "summon" them or what percentage of what flower should be next to what percentage of another flower type. Either way very clean and calm game appreciated it ! I had no problem other then having troubles because i'm color blind and that the top of the screen lacks brightness which in my case means I can't catch butterflies bc of my tv setup but it's quite normal for a jam, you provided an option menu and a basic tutorial at the start which is already really cool and takes time too. Congrats !
Oct 10 11:07:56 24h 28m Empty Voice ♥ 1 I love the music is it kalimba is it glockenspiel or something else I don't know but it fits very well the atmosphere, the art is very solid as well especially for a solo gamejam. The movement is slow but the enemies are slow too so it doesn't bother me. Good job and great way to have a polished game by using the same loop with details like the previous attempts on a cell as we traverse the first room. I agree with what other are saying. Other then that it would be good to add a way to change controls (maybe just provide another layout) because many of us are not on a QWERTY setting nor have a controller. Good job overall very solid piece !
Oct 10 12:55:20 1h 47m Wishdom Teeth Pact ♥ 2 I get that it's not the kind of inclusive gameplay but I like my puzzle between two action games on a gamejam. Loved the atmosphere, music and art ! On the game itself I would say that sometimes the wording can be tricky. Like for instance on day 4 "if it is day4 extract the lower 2incisors tooth" "if the upper right 2. premolars tooth is yellow (why right) extract ONE of the upper incosors (which one ?)" "if there are 5 yellow teeth extract the inner incisors" The wording makes us think that those things are additive but I lost all my energy trying to pull out the incisors and I'm not even sure why ;-;.... Until then I had a smooth experience ! Maybe a quick addition would be the action of folding documents when we think they are now obsolete to reduce the mess on the desk haha. But overall it's a very solid game congrats !
Oct 10 13:05:06 9m 46s Lepidopterology Extreme ♥ 1 I'm so damn whyyy. I spent minutes testing the controls and being confortable with the fact that you could catch back your broken jar if you just follow the throw trajectory. So I felt confident. And then I played the game and lost my level 4 butterfly like a noob. I tried to catch it back 5times and then it vanished through the fence. Fun addictive game congrats !
Oct 13 14:23:32 73h 18m Word Collector ♥ 0 I wish you had time to implement your other ideas ! What were you going for ? Like other said great base here ! Kinda obvious but it has to be easier when you're actually an english native speaker... I can't get to level 50 sadly 👿 I'm impressed by the fact that you managed to have something that polished and bug-free in 2hours ! I hope one day to see what you can do with 48 :p ! Congrats on the jam !
Oct 13 14:51:59 28m 27s Ludum TCG ♥ 1 It's the first time I play a game where you have to zoom out the page before actually launching the game haha, but it works ! Very relaxing between two action-packed games, love the sounds it makes when you take the card. Would be cool to have the last card taken above the other and have a grid/magnetism when you put them on the table. Bravo pour la jam !
Oct 13 16:27:38 1h 35m GNOWER ♥ 2 Absolutely loved the plot, opening scene is awesome and made me fall in love with gnomes at first frame haha. Would have been great to keep the humour as part of the gameplay a bit more but everything's pretty solid otherwise, music and art are good and gameplay is quite particular. Congrats ! Please watch "la quête de l'humain" on youtube I think you'll like it.
Oct 13 16:40:06 12m 28s Bug Driver 3D ♥ 2 Most polished game I've played yet ! I had to change my computer to play it though haha, I guess it comes from the post process. Good visuals, adorable characters. The audio is very nice as well I loved the intro and wanted more voice acting during gameplay ! Physics are very good as well love the micromachine feeling. Was stuck for a while between mushrooms, the sound design made me laugh so it's all good xD. Good job !
Oct 13 16:56:49 16m 43s John Highland and a Special Golden Crown ♥ 1 I feel like the theme of the jam could have been better integrated to the gameplay itself but the controls, the music and level design are great ! It feels good being able to simply rest and not being rushed into making decisions, not restart from the beginning on failure. Good guy John, very polished game congrats !
Oct 16 14:25:27 69h 28m The Internet Collector ♥ 3 Quite hard to get into it but thanks to the animations, mood and sound-design it was a good ride afterwards ! Very cool pixelart. I had 2 times the exact same entry on the blackBoard at the start (I don't remember which one sorry) but other than that I had no issues. Good job !
Oct 16 15:16:43 51m 16s Snaposaurus ♥ 4 I love your take on the sketchy drawings and the simplified Pokemon battles, we kinda went for the same direction on our game haha (great minds they say...). Really relaxing game with great style and music, everything worked like a charm. I think you would have gained in simplicity by just allowing "UP" to climb instead of using another key to engage. The main character is absolutely adorable, no bugs staining that consistent cozy mood - very solid entry overall congrats on the team ! Also good job for updating the game, adding an AZERTY layout made me play the game - imo not enough games do those kind of quality of life features and it's totally fine to do them after the jam.
Oct 17 21:40:30 30h 23m EYE DEALER ♥ 2 better than mouthwashing. Should be called eye washing mmmmh 🤔 Beautiful eyes collection right here, kinda disappointed by the ending I would have loved more dialog. I don't quite get why I'd choose not to cut the eyes. Otherwise I liked the minigame there's a very thin line between greed and failure I like it. Almost thought the game bugged after the first dialog when you're supposed to go to sleep for the first time, could be resolved by forcing the player to move a bit at the start (I thought it would be a point&click only game). Good job nonetheless it's a solid jam entry !
Oct 21 19:59:50 94h 19m A Bulletmaster's Ritual ♥ 2 Oh no I got shot being too talkative ! Keep the intel for yourself everyone ! Very pleasing aesthetic with nice transitions here and there everything feels very polished and smooth. The music and the mood keeps us engaged in a game that has a surprisingly good amount of dialogs which made me want to dig the lore and the find the meaning of this bullet marketplace. The combat system needed more polish but I can't blame you because we did the same thing: having multiple stats that doesn't really matter because the balancing is too easy haha. Once I got the Guner I just steamrolled onto the cards. I'm not sure but I think one time I had a green feedback for an "attack" but it missed so I wonder if the color just means you have a greater percentage of winning ? And if so it would have been cool to be able to keep pushing our luck and try defeating more opponents before ending the round. Or maybe engage multiple cards before "commiting" so you're pushed to upgrade multiple cards. Very cool ! One of the best games I've played on this jam o/
Oct 24 22:46:03 74h 46m Opa is de Koning ♥ 0 Almost forgot to play your game since I saw your post 3weeks ago x). It delivered ! Very cute and awesome voice acting ! The fact that each time we got Opa something triggered a line or two was a great touch that I almost understood since your language has a lot in common with german but not quite so it was a strange cute experience haha. Perfectly scoped and produced great piece of work for a gamejam congrats !
