After coming to terms with my utter frustration I came to sincerely adore these lovable idiots. We all make mistakes sometimes, even if these mistakes lead to the gruesome death and suffering of our friends, y'know. It felt quite nostalgic, honestly, and made me remember the days when I thought that games were a little bit like magic. Well, perhaps they still are. Lyrics aside, I'm usually bad with anything involving timed inputs or memorisation under stress, but I felt like I could still go on here, and practice really made perfect. Got a little spooked by the darkened levels, too, but they kinda made the ending all the more rewarding. |

The rats were kinda cute at first, and the way their behavior changed after I reached the idol was startling. At first, there were four of them, and then way too many for me to count by the time I went all the way down again. Seems like I won't be making friends with he little pals anytime soon... Absolutely loved the droning ambient music in the background, it worked perfectly to set the atmosphere. Sweetest little horror experience. |
