Oct 3 20:43:58 Too Many Marbles ♥ 1 I think that reducing opponents down to 1, and making their turn faster would make the game feel significantly better to play, as it is now you get to play for 3 seconds and then you have to wait 45 seconds to be able to play again.
Oct 3 21:03:37 19m 39s Unlimited space ♥ 3 Really liked this one! Here's some feedback in no particular order: -I absolutely love the title screen, I knew the game was gonna look slick from the moment I launched it. -The way you had controls on the side of the screen is probably the best control display I've seen in a game jam game, I may steal this for a future submission >:) -You didn't give any direction on how to accept missions, I was wondering around in space aimlessly until I accidentally went on top of a planet and the interaction popped up. At least tell me to go over planets in your description if nothing else. -Space art is fantastic, A+ On top of that, I'd probably add more things to dodge in space to make deliveries a little more exciting, it was a little too straight forward to accept quest go to planet get gas accept quest. Anyway I enjoyed the game, nice submission!
Oct 3 21:26:12 22m 35s Lone Tower: Against All Odds ♥ 3 Always impressive to see 3d entries for game jams! I liked: Shooting skeletons with turrets I disliked: Moving between turrets I think this is similar to how ship combat is done in some games, but unlike ship cannon games where you generally always know where the thing you're shooting is, this game disorients you when moving between turrets / stairs and it is very hard to keep track of which way you're facing, where the skeletons were originally, and which way they moved. How I would personally improve it if it was my game: -Make a UI element that shows where live enemies are, so you don't lose track of them when moving between turrets -Drastically increase skeleton spawn count and make it happen early in the game, less waiting for skelies to spawn, more killing skelies. I liked the idea, the single tower defending city is thematically appealing, the cannons were fun to shoot, and making 3d games in short timespans is impressive as heck. Good submission overall.
Oct 3 21:46:52 20m 40s Hardcore Overload ♥ 2 First of all let me just say that the bouncing blocks on title screen were lit. I really enjoyed moving the car around, I liked the fluid controls and moving blocks down space was satisfying. I do wish that the edges were a little less punishing, all my deaths were from flying off the edge trying to move around fast and i never made it to where there were too many blocks to handle. I found the optimal gameplay for me was to slowly and carefully move blocks around, which was really boring and unsatisfying compared to quickly zapping around and ramming into blocks everywhere. I feel like you should do something to encourage players to encage with the fun movement mechanics, and discourage the slow and controlled boring route. Overall the game was one of the more fun games I've played so far, a little adjustments here and there and I'd love to play more of it.
