Oct 4 08:39:34 Laser Madness: Super Mega Neo Ultimate Climax No Way Back Wars Deluxe Edition ♥ 3 First I was like: "OK, moving and dashing but how do I shoot?!?" and that reveal was a nice moment :D Also like the visuals and sound, very well balanced!
Oct 4 08:50:56 11m 22s The Dawn ♥ 3 Good job! Always love shooting and the clutch nature of looking for the next 10 second timer. In the first two runs, I ended up looking all the way downwards, which made me think the controls were inverted. Limiting the camera movement downwards would be a good solution to that.
Oct 4 09:13:47 22m 51s Teck Tronix ♥ 3 Love the atmosphere! The card effects are very complex and the game has a lot of depth. For me the 10-second timer put a stop to most tactical thinking and I ended up spamming same color cards without reading. But maybe this is a limitation of the jam version. In a full game the player would have more time to learn the cards. Enjoyed it very much, lots of content!
Oct 4 09:21:47 8m 00s Cult Of the Сelestial Knight ♥ 5 The graphics and sound effects are amazing, top tier! The first time I got to the scythe timing game, I didn't know how it worked and failed, maybe a small hint would be good. Also think the Theme could've been used better, since the wind blowing exactly every 10 seconds takes the surprise out of it. All in all great fun.
Oct 4 09:29:25 7m 38s À la carte ♥ 1 Great idea haha, made many dubious dishes. If every dish in that collection exists, that's a crazy amount of content. Like the artstyle. My critique would be that game over comes to fast. That kind of keeps you from exploring options since you don't want to start over.
Oct 4 09:54:49 25m 24s Just 10 More Seconds ♥ 1 Great game! Reminds me of flash era games. Love the different upgrades and music theme variety. My only gripe is that my frame-rate was kinda low.
Oct 4 10:07:40 12m 51s The Last Outpost ♥ 2 Fantastic atmosphere with art and sounds! Everything fits together nicely. My only suggestion would be to add more visual feedback for when the player/fire health is low. For example I missed my fire going out while I was chilling in my camp doing some upgrades.
Oct 4 10:15:07 7m 27s 10 Second Traffic ♥ 4 haha cute sound effects and love the crazy situations that arise and the collisions. Nice job! Also like this idea of "anti-upgrades" you choose.
Oct 4 11:22:24 1h 07m Dust and Death ♥ 2 Nice game! I had some trouble with the controls but it could be me. I feel like the car steered much even if I just pressed A or D for a very short time. But the overall mood of the game is great and it felt very satisfying!
Oct 4 11:32:46 10m 22s Fruits Frenzy ♥ 1 love the UI and overall game-feel. Fits together nicely. After a first fail I knew what to do :D
Oct 4 11:36:28 3m 42s Light - Switch ♥ 3 The ball sprite is cute :) Also found the easter-egg but didn't solve the maze, too large for me. Sometimes there where paths that looked to be open but I didn't manage to squeeze through.
Oct 4 11:38:29 2m 01s RoomZ ♥ 1 Your itch.io link doesn't work. Maybe the game isn't public yet? The screenshots look cool! Would love to try.
Oct 4 11:43:06 4m 37s Sokobyo ♥ 2 The artstyle is really beautiful, reminds me of Baba is You. The controls are a little weird, would prefer WASD.
Oct 4 15:25:09 3h 42m Bad Thoughts ♥ 3 Fantastic entry! I love the whole mood this builds, very interesting idea and well directed art-wise. Only minor nitpick I have is that the game doesn't feel buttery smooth when moving the camera (maybe frame-pacing issues or camera movement in fixed step?), that's all I can think of. The soundtrack is absolutely banging and fits so well! Would listen to it outside of the game. The sound design works very well. Honestly as a VFX nerd I would love if you could share some implementation details on how you achieved this grainy/VCR type post-processing, would love to try something similar. Great experience and it's obvious you worked hard on this, kudos :)
Oct 4 15:58:57 33m 48s The Hellchemist ♥ 4 Great game! So amazing to me the amount of content there is. Nice particles, sounds and well balanced. The difficulty curve is really good, it stayed interesting throughout the different difficulties. PS: I got the high-score, try to beat it you guys :P
Oct 5 09:48:33 17h 49m THE SUMMON ♥ 1 Great presentation. Didn't expect there to be this many branches.
Oct 5 11:49:50 2h 01m the doze off ♥ 1 Great sound design! Good job :)
Oct 5 12:00:16 10m 26s The Goose Bureau ♥ 2 Apart from stuff the others already said: I like that dithering shader, nice style :P
Oct 5 15:49:21 3h 49m [X-ED OUT] ♥ 2 Really well polished! A simple idea well executed, so it was enjoyable :)
Oct 6 15:14:47 23h 25m Cybermachine ♥ 1 The energy drink and fork were a fun surprise, haha :D For me the gameplay was too hard, I didn't get much further than the first large chamber because I always got hit from behind (I tried running away, maybe shoulda fought more lol). Anyway impressive project, good job! Edit: Oh ye I think I also got killed by the bomb often, I think it did too much damage.
Oct 6 15:25:14 10m 27s Perihelion ♥ 3 Awesome atmosphere! I really like your choice of sound effects and music, fits well! The visual effect for the radiation is nice and the game fits the theme. I appreciate that you added checkpoints, I think that's essential for this type of game and many don't add that. I would've liked some more variety (moving platforms etc) but that's totally fine for a jam :)
Oct 7 11:54:31 20h 29m Murder on the Horizon ♥ 1 Awesomely ambitious! That's really cool. What really stands out to me is the beginning, where you are dropped right in but the mechanics get explained well. From a narrative point of view there are so many dialog choices (must have been a lot of work :o) but I felt some didn't bring new info, so I skipped them since there is this whole time-pressure element. One bug/nuisance, if there's a character standing behind the buttons, you accidently click on the other character. All in all nice entry :)
Oct 8 09:53:00 21h 58m So they met. So they talked. ♥ 1 This 2D Movement with obstacles to select the answer is really creative! I liked the mysterious atmosphere. Maybe it's not in the spirit of the game, but I would've liked some context or a resolution in the end what this dialog is about ^^ Kind of sounds like an ancient roman saga or something with these names.
Oct 8 09:56:57 3m 57s ShooterWare ♥ 1 Smart concept to have the health depending on number of shape corners, I like that! Apart from that it was pretty hard (the squares were tough) and the other game every 10 seconds was pretty random.
Oct 8 11:01:19 1h 04m Line Momentum ♥ 1 I also love the music and instruments! But it's very tough, I'm glad I managed to beat the first track haha. Once the visualization disappears I get really hyped, my heart beats a little faster, and I tend to lose. Feels brutal to get put back to square one. Really polished!
