| Oct 4 00:50:27 | Metal Muscle Mage | ♥ 2 | Amazing. Love the vibe (art and music), and such an elegant concept. Light on content, but that is very understandable for a 72 hour jam ... the important thing is that the core elements are there to build on (and incredibly polished). So impressed! Well done! | |
| Oct 4 01:46:15 | 55m 48s | Faraday Uncaged | ♥ 2 | Nice simple concept, works great, easy to understand. Well done! |
| Oct 4 02:04:47 | 18m 32s | Fred the Egg the Gardener | ♥ 1 | Nice idea, all seemed to work as described, looks good. The embedded version didn't load for me, but the html5 link was fine. It would have been great to control the camera and be able to zoom out, also I found Fred a little hard to control (not his fault really, he's an egg!) Overall loved the concept! |
| Oct 4 02:15:15 | 10m 28s | Spooky Glitch | ♥ 10 | Nice idea for the theme, really impressed you pulled off so many different games in one jam! I agree with other commenters the pumpkin catch game was the most fun and the zombie platformer was the hardest :) Awesome job! |
| Oct 6 04:51:59 | 50h 36m | Natural Snek-lection! | ♥ 2 | Love the concept, and the aesthetic you chose to go with it. I agree with the commenter above that the mechanic is too complicated for a 10 second cycle, also agree with your reply that a pause option would go a long way towards solving that. Alternatively I wonder whether having the traits controlled by a single locus (ie a 2x2 punnet square) could be a better fit with the 10s rule (or be used as a tutorial/intro level). I would have liked to have a picture of the ideal snake (ie. phenotype that I am aiming for) so I could then work on building it, but I appreciate that the open exploration is a stylistic choice that you made and respect that. Game runs great, controls work great, really good jam submission - well done! |
| Oct 6 05:21:09 | 29m 10s | Room Again | ♥ 3 | Love everything about this game. Concept, gameplay, art, music, all 100%. Runs great. I also love that there is so much scope here to expand (add more levels/rooms!) Only suggestions would be clarify the ending (I wasn't sure if I was done or if I had to do something else) and make it more obvious that you've collected a couple of the items (perhaps it would help if they fell on the ground instead of going straight to your hand). Overall excellent job, one of my favourites so far! |
| Oct 6 05:35:43 | 14m 34s | Call It A Day | ♥ 4 | I was unable to open the download for macOS (message saying can't be opened, "This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information"). Played a bit in browser; beautiful art and music, super polished. Really well done :) |
| Oct 21 22:44:20 | 377h 08m | Clock Caper | ♥ 2 | Wow! This is such an impressive jam effort. Great job on the looney tunes retro cartoon aesthetic. Really great take on the theme too, pushing the clock hand around the circle was a clever core mechanic for an arcade-style game like this. I thought it would have been nice to be able to jump over it (maybe you could but I failed haha), but is a neat feature of the gameplay as is. Well done!! |
| Oct 21 23:01:42 | 17m 22s | ☕️ OverBrewed ! | ♥ 2 | Well done on a great jam entry, there is a lot here and really well polished. Worked great for me in Chrome. I didn't see an in-game guide on how to make the coffees, and am not much of a coffee drinker myself, so had to guess the recipes by trial and error! It was fun and I love that it's 2 player. Wonderful tribute to Overcooked. Great job! |
