| Oct 3 23:21:36 | Exorcist Patrol | ♥ 3 | Beautiful game, played it to the end! I especially like the artwork, gameplay-wise I mostly miss a restart-button but then again 10 seconds is not too long to wait. Favorite spell: squirrel patrol! | |
| Oct 10 14:07:34 | 158h 45m | Michael Finnegan Begins Again | ♥ 1 | Hahaa, I flippin' did it! xD Really fun idea and good execution with the level design. |
| Oct 10 14:13:15 | 5m 41s | A Little Bit Of Everything | ♥ 1 | Good Wario Ware, I especially enjoyed the "controlling the flag" level. Difficulty is all over the place though, and as others said, randomization of some puzzles would make it better. |
| Oct 10 14:53:51 | 40m 36s | The book of time magic | ♥ 1 | Well done, I kept going until I built together a 256-sized block of health (although I only afterwards realized that green was health). I find the best mechanic in this game that leveling up introduces bigger tiles that cannot be combined with the others, encouraging the player to try and clear one color to the point where all of the old tiles have been eliminated. Combining tiles at will is a bit too flexible though, taking much of the challenge from the game. The original 2048-style combining or perhaps combining two colors into a new one would make for some more interesting player choices. |
| Oct 10 22:06:54 | 7h 13m | Tenjutsu | ♥ 1 | Great take on the theme and really impressive visuals. I also liked the enemy design and combinations of enemies, on the whole this game feels a lot like Mr. Shifty. One slightly frustrating aspect for me was that I unwillingly picked up marks right after punching it out of someone, since this interfered with the optimal strategy of littering marks all over the place to then pick them up in one window and eliminate as many enemies as possible in a single marking. Oh, and one bug report: on the second-last (I assume) level, I won without really beating it - after restarting (in quick succession?) I suddenly found myself in the last level. |
| Oct 11 10:53:58 | 12h 47m | Winding Woods | ♥ 1 | Interesting idea and nice graphics! Instantly dying to the darkness is pretty harsh. It might have been nice to always place the "next" card wherever the player clicks to be faster and/or to respawn the player somewhere (possibly adding lives). Also, the player does not have that much control to keep the critter away from the ghosts in my opinion (apart from the arrows). Perhaps some item would lure the critter onto the neighboring tile but I did not figure that out. |
